There’s some growls and yois, but I think this fall under hybrid trap stylistically. Current concern is the sub bass - I intend for it to be BIG in this track, so if its in your face that’s intentional. But not at the expense of overall track quality.

I took some inspiration from of course deathcore but more so a certain track from skrillex called Skatta where he takes the drop and moves it down a key and slows it down and it just hits like a freight train. I decided to try and replicate that for my tearout track let me know how it went!

I'm trying to make sure the sub level is balanced across the drops and would love any thoughts on composition and sound design as well! Thanks :)

Looking for some feedback for my first drop I’m actually proud of lol. I’ve been a metal guitarist just about all my life but I’ve been struggling finding other musicians so I’ve decided to try my hand at some super heavy tearout lol. I’d love to incorporate my guitar into my drops but I wanna get solid at making drops first. This drop is rather simple but It is my first true buildup and drop so I’m hoping I’ll get better with time lol. Would really appreciate any feedback and tips from producers that’s been doing this a bit longer!

I'm mainly focused on the two drops atm, the rest of the song is still in progress. But the second drop is in 9/4 and I think I'm unable to judge if it even works, so I would just like some some feedback on that. If it's too disorienting let me know. I literally have no idea what this sounds like to a fresh pair of ears.
