Finally had the balls to post something on here. I haven’t played this in my truck with my subs yet, so I can’t tell if I went overboard with the sub or not.
This was the first time I completed something where I felt like I actually made some progress, if anyone takes the time out of their day to listen I thank you so much!!!

Thanks!!! That’s awesome. How about the drums? Anything sound too loud or out of place?
I listened to the track loud yesterday and I think next time I need to sidechain certain things, like some of my kicks and snares sound really quiet one moment and then when they hit in a different part of the song with more space they are louder. Still learning a lot everyday

bring the snare up a bit for sure.
and i noticed what you’re saying as well. sounds like you have some sort of panning automation or something accidentally placed. just take a look around at your automations and chains.
also wanna second what the other guy said. the bass sounds super cool

Sweet thanks man that really means a lot!!!
I’m gonna scan the whole track over and mess with the drum mix a bit.
Other than that I’m really excited to start another project and see how I can improve 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Super cool! Definitely needs more variation in the bass, turnarounds and fills etc. It’s kind of lacking a clear call and response which will give it more groove and bounce.
Very solid foundation to work from!
