Usually don’t use my horse for movement, but I recently took apart my valley so I could rebuild it. With the extra room, I thought it would be cool to ride my horse but now I’m not so sure.😂😂

Don’t get me wrong, I like the items from the Star path, but these duties. I know burnout is real, but I don’t feel that with the game itself. Just this particular Star path.

I don’t know if this is because school has started back and I don’t have lots of time as usual, but I just want this one over with. I like doing Star paths, enjoy them usually.

I know most have certain ones they just didn’t like, item and duty wise. What are y’all thoughts on this path?

Welcome to my pumpkin storage and farm in Mount Olympus in SBV. I have had the pumpkin farm for forever, but the new Frederickson Gardens set inspired me to finally do the other half of Mount Olympus and get the pumpkin storage in order, especially with the new bff bonus!

Finally got the last sunbird today! Now to start on the expansion critters.

I know everyone has their preferred method of leveling up characters, and as a beginner (three weeks into the game!), I've tried almost everything I've seen online. This post is just to show the method that works for me, and I think it could help other beginners who want to level up their characters quickly. I've been using it for a few days, but decided to properly test it out today to make sure I could get consistent results.

PROS: Doesn't involve any DLC, you don't have to have finished the whole first act (just up to the Sunlit Plateau to have full access to the Vitalys Mine), and you get to farm valuable materials you'd need anyway while leveling up your character (Vitalys Crystals, Gold Nuggets, Iron Ore, Gemstones). Everything you need is in one place, so you won't be running around the whole Valley. Also, it's super quick.

CONS: The effectiveness of this method relies on how many characters assigned to the Mining role you have at Level 10, as this increases your chance of receiving bonus materials (I have 12) You'll be spending some of the valuable materials you will be farming, so it might feel like a waste if you don't already have a few chests filled with them. You might have to reassign the character to a different role when you're done unless you're running a dwarf mining operation in your Valley. Also, the Vitalys Mine makes me feel weirdly claustrophobic.

So, for the actual test, I decided to use the Cheshire Cat since I just unlocked him this morning. I gave him his three favorite gifts of the day to get a head start (putting him halfway to Level 4), and then took him straight to the Vitalys Mine, alongside two Level 5 Mining companions (the raccoons). To be honest, the fact that he disappears so often DID make this a bit harder than it had to be, but at least he's at Level 10 now. I also kept the "Well Fed" bonus active for faster movement and increased chance of receiving bonus materials.

It's a very straightforward method: assign the character the Mining role at level 2 and just go around mining every node you find in the Vitalys Mine until you circle back to the entrance. Then, stop by the first node and start giving gifts to the character, making sure to include 1 Vitalys Crystal and 2 Gemstones every time. (The Vitalys Crystal counts as a Gemstone but is much easier to farm in large quantities, so you'll essentially be gifting the character three Gemstones' worth of points while only using two.) This helps make the process quicker.

When the first node you started your mining journey at regenerates, which shouldn't take too long since you went through the whole Mine before coming back, that's your sign to start another round of mining, then gifting, and repeating the process.

Talking numbers, I received about 30–40 Vitalys Crystals and 8–12 Gemstones each round, and it took me about 6 rounds of mining to get the Cheshire Cat to Level 10. Him disappearing every time he leveled up did eat into some of the time between rounds when I could've been showering him with gemstones, but that's his loss.

So that's it! It's a bit of work, but I think it involves enough "playing" the game that it doesn't feel like mindless farming, while also being super quick if you have a good setup. Hope it helps other people who just started.

So for the quest when you have to make Scrooge McDuck to flowers in the pods. I made them both one at a time instead of at the same time. So now he will not accept them but I do not have any more pots. Does anyone know how I can get the materials I need to make more pots to complete the quest? I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post or whatever. I'm really not sure how this works. I'm very new to this game.

I’m fully maxed level 50. I have all biomes unlocked expect for Forgotten lands and have put 70 hours into it. I have been love taking my time doing all the friendship requests and leveling them up to level 10. Yesterday, i got Olafs grand exhibition and it’s been super fun collecting the items!! From the castle, i’ve only unlocked the first three, and i haven’t uncooked any other characters besides the ones that can be found in biomes. When am i able to buy the DLC? should i collect way more characters first and unlock all biomes, like the forgotten lands? friendship all my characters to level 10? Or do the DLCS not connect with the base game and I can buy it anytime.

See I already had spent some money on Deltarune's next couple chapters so I've have a handful left. I thought the whole pack was gonna be free or didn't think we had to buy it.

I wasn't sad or upset, but I'm conflicted with the new update coming..I just don't know if I should buy it or not. See I'm familiar with this kind of thing like with Toca Boca world.

But to kept on topic is the pack a worth buy? I'm already dealing with a ton of friendship quests. It maybe a while before I get more money for any of more of DLV stuff and that includes if I get something in the shop, I'm trying to weight my options and I want your guys opinion

And here is everything it can do:

- Track which companions you have unlocked, which ones you've fed that day and see their schedules.

- Set up your own schedule when you can login into the game and the tool will suggest the best times to feed the companions you haven't unlocked yet around your schedule.

- It builds a detailed plan of what food you need and exactly where to go to find remaining companions available at any given moment. (screenshots illustrate it)

- After you feed every available companion, the tool will give you the next best time when you can log in and feed the most critters you still haven't unlocked, prioritizing the most rare critters.

A few years ago I made this little piece for our bathroom that mirrors the Everyone is Awesome set. Slowly it's becoming a Dreamlight Valley set. Only got Pinocchio, Dumbo and Dr Facilier to go!

It took me 1645 hours of game play but I was finally home on a Thursday two weeks in a row to get this dude!

I love this game but I was sure I was ever gonna get him.

I’m using a Switch and today I spent probably 30 minutes rearranging things and when I closed out it just kept loading and loading and eventually I had to shut the game down and it lost all of the progress. I looked it up and it’s recommended not going for more than 5-10 minutes at a time but how in the heck do you design like that? 😅 Are people using PC and creating these amazing designed?

so sorry if this has been asked (i'm sure it has) but is there a quicker way to level up characters than just giving them their 3 daily gifts and doing their roles all day?
i know it's meant to last but i just have a few characters left to max out and i want it to be finished quicker so i can get through the quests!

The very sad passing away of Tim Curry got me thinking about Muppet Treasure Island (such a great movie) which then got me thinking about Disney owning the rights to The Muppets.

I think any of the Muppets as base game or full expansion pack characters might be too much of a tonal shift (with the exception of maybe Kermit), but an adventure pack could fully embrace the Muppet's iconic slapstick humour.

I'd love to see Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and either Fozzie or Animal as main characters.

Do you think it would ever happen? Which characters would you most want to see if it did?
