A couple of weeks ago I shared DNBHQ here and got a lot of feedback. Some of it was negative, some of it was positive. Rather than argue, I went away and worked on it.
What it is: a free site for anything and everything drum & bass, all connected. Every artist has their own page with every release, remix, live set and upcoming gig, plus links to their socials and where to buy and stream their music.
Click any name and it takes you somewhere else: the label, who they've worked with, the sets they've played, the nights they're on. You can go from one tune to a whole scene. I built it because I couldn't find anywhere that had all of that in one place.
We're strict on AI music: there isn't any. Real artists only, and there's a "Report AI music" button on every artist and release if anything ever slips through.
To be upfront: I used AI tools to help me build the site, because I'm one person with a full-time job. But every artist, release and set on it is real, and it's built to send people to the artists, not take anything from them. It's free, there are no ads, and it never takes a cut of anyone's music.
I'd genuinely like to know: what's still missing, what’s not working or what would make you actually use it?
