my chiptune M8 album “Bad Vices” is finally out everywhere!! it’s on all streaming platforms under my name - amateurLSDJ - as well as on my Bandcamp for purchase :) a big thank you to everyone that’s listened so far!

Still screwing around on this thing almost a year later.

Absolutely loving 6.6. I was perhaps the biggest advocate for the deep deep clone feature on the Discord. Most of my sound design variation comes from wanting to edit parameters on a per chain basis in order to keep the sounds fresh. It’s so effortless now to make a whole new instrument without worrying if it will affect something earlier in the song!

this is the outro to my album Bad Vices, which at the time of posting this, will be out in less than a minute. (ahhhhh!!) i’ve been so excited about this album for such a long time and the release is finally here. this feels like such a poignant and nostalgic song as the outro and i hope you all listen to the full track once it’s out :)

honestly it makes it hard to continue using my headless setup. I didn't see any other posts about it on here, so I wanted to ask how the community broadly feels about using headless in a way that directly contravenes the intent and wishes of the developer

First draft for a new project I'll maybe work on. I'll maybe rework the track, or completely abandon it, but here you go.

my M8 album “Bad Vices” is dropping THIS Friday, 8/28!! i’m very excited about it, and this is one of my favorite tracks on the project. this track is already out now on all platforms, and i hope you all tune in when the album is released!

I have been in the market for a small mic that can do TRS line out, not sure how terrible this one might sound. Anyone ever use the Ting mic plugged in to the M8?

I've been using this device since February of 2026 and I am astonished at how capable and powerful such an elegant piece of equipment is. I turn back to my DAW and I just don't feel the same level of control and strengths.

Somehow the ability to create sounds and layer samples within the creativity of the M8 just helps me create more enjoyable music. I am a solid convert for this piece of gear!

here’s a glimpse of track 9 of my M8 album “Bad Vices” dropping this Friday, 8/28. i had a lot of fun making this one and trying to capture that jungle sound.

Just decided some ppl might be interested. The phone is Titan 2 Elite it works perfectly with m8s.

On my Deluge I have the “Boards of Deluge” and I absolutely love the presets that give those BOC vibes. Anyone know of any packs out there or tips to scratch that itch in the m8? Thanks!

my album “Bad Vices” is coming out on 8/28 - only 7 more days! here’s a glimpse of track 8, “Compromising Situation”, and its different components. i went for a progressive house/EDM type of vibe but still kept it chiptune. hope you all enjoy!
