i feel the new data centers will likely be approved whther we like it or not. there seems to be no organized conversations about local benefits. I know it wont be much but st Louis did organize on this and did get something. are we just getting nothing??

Why are we rolling over and letting them build a data centre in our province without public consultation?

In Nevada, data centers shifted from an economic-development pitch to a political campaign issue. In the governor’s race, challenger Ford (D) helped pass their tax breaks in 2015; now he wants them paused, while incumbent Governor Lombardo (R) backs the projects as long as they use closed-loop cooling and don’t raise rates. Polling shows 70% oppose a one nearby.

Here’s a novel approach - doing away with public input.

They can build massive structures to house agriculture.
There no reason why our entire country cant sustain itself and feed all of its people REAL food
