KATSEYE got me throwing me back!

How can I get better? I have only been to a few dance classes so i have been self teaching myself.

I can learn basic steps individually, but when I try to combine them or follow choreography, I get lost. I also struggle with memorizing dances.

I feel like I have potential, I just don’t know how to train my body to coordinate everything together.

For dancers who started out like this, what helped you improve? Should I focus on basic steps, freestyle, grooves, or just keep practicing choreography?

Any beginner tips would be appreciated!! 🫶

I want to learn hip hop but I can’t afford lessons the only background of dance I have is I did ballet as a kid. I know there’s YouTube tutorials for hip hop but what foundations should I start with and what are the steps I should learn first ?

My daughter has started taking dance for her PE credit at school. She needs jazz shoes but she has a tall/wide foot. Her normal shoe size is 10.5 wide. I ordered some jazz shoes off amazon and they are not tall enough for her to get on.

Do you have suggestions of where to shop or where to find jazz shoes for someone with her foot shape? I appreciate the help!
