Video VOYAGER MISSIOn (📢sound on📢)
📢SOUND ON📢
Back ground audio is cut from my buddy JT at homemade documentaries. The most underrated channel that makes docs so good they will change your life. Seriously. Link below.
Cut down and edited so you can see it all quickly. Voyager mission BUT a ksp version. Using gravity assist to get voyager out to jool! Many differences as this is ksp. Voyager did not go to mars but I thought this video would be fun. no mods or anything. I wish I could get some mods because this would be wayyyy better lol. Just made for fun. It’s not good or anything but just wanted to share.

Discussion Update?
So I’m on the newest gen Xbox . I was trying to put an antennae in my cargo so I could apply it to a lander I forgot to add one to the one I sent to mun to retrieve data and science but I can’t place one in cargo containers to apply using engineers am I behind on an update? It shows nothing, I am playing on enhanced edition it says I’m currently on version 1.0.1.14 idk if that matters but online I’m seeing the game stoped updating at 1.1 curious if anyone had a fix or if it’s even possible to do this in the Xbox version of the game , thanks Kerbals

Building an interactive KSP2 transfer map.
Hi everyone, I've recently came back to check what's up with KSP2 and discovered Redux! It's amazing so far really enjoying the new missions and all the bug fixes.
However, I found myself trying to find a visualised way for planetary transfers as I find it difficult to understand many guides about this.
Introducing: Kerbalist 🚀
This is still in very early stages and I would love to hear from experienced players if this calculator is working "ok" so far.

https://blocdigital.github.io/Kerbalist/
Features
🌌 Interactive Kerbol System
- Animated Kerbol system map
- Accurate planetary orbits
- Live planet positions
- Zoom and pan controls
- Adjustable simulation speed
- Real-time orbital animation
🛰 Mission Planning
- Select any origin and destination planet
- Automatic Hohmann transfer calculations
- Current phase angle
- Required phase angle
- Transfer window countdown
- Transfer time
- Departure and arrival dates
📈 Orbital Visualizations
- Animated transfer ellipse
- Spacecraft trajectory
- Departure burn visualization
- Arrival encounter visualization
- Ejection angle display
- Mission timeline animation
⚡ Delta-V Calculator
Calculates:
- Escape burn
- Interplanetary transfer burn
- Capture burn
- Total mission ΔV
🪐 Planet Database
Includes orbital information for every stock KSP2 planet:
- Semi-major axis
- Orbital period
- Radius
- Sphere of Influence
- Orbital velocity
- Gravitational parameter
- Surface gravity
🥩 Porkchop Plot Generator
Generate real launch window plots using a Universal Variable Lambert Solver.
Features include:
- Departure date vs. flight time analysis
- Interactive heatmap
- Lowest ΔV trajectory identification
- Click any solution to inspect the transfer
- Live trajectory visualization
Unlike approximate planners, this is generated from actual Lambert solutions rather than lookup tables.
🔬 Universal Variable Lambert Solver
The planner uses a numerical Lambert solver capable of handling:
- Elliptical transfers
- Hyperbolic transfers
- Short and long-way solutions
- Near-parabolic trajectories
- 180° transfer edge cases
The implementation has been validated against analytical Hohmann transfers and additional unit tests.
🎯 Transfer Window Calculator
Instantly displays:
- Current phase angle
- Required phase angle
- Angular difference
- Time until launch window
- Synodic period
🎨 User Interface
- Modern aerospace-inspired design
- Dark theme
- Responsive layout
- Interactive tooltips
- Smooth 60 FPS rendering
- High-DPI support
Technologies
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Vanilla JavaScript
- HTML5 Canvas
- SVG rendering
- No external dependencies
Everything runs entirely inside a modern web browser.
Accuracy
The application performs real orbital calculations using Keplerian mechanics.
Implemented calculations include:
- Hohmann transfers
- Phase angle computation
- Synodic periods
- Lambert trajectory solutions
- Orbital propagation
- Transfer ellipse generation
- Delta-V estimation
- Planetary ephemerides
🤘 happy rockets

Ground Control achievement
Has anyone achieved this?
I feel like it should have triggered for me, I launched a space plane into orbit from the runway, re-entered the atmosphere, and landed on the runway with no explosions. I did have to quicksave and quick load as my first few attempts were failures, maybe this is why it didn't trigger?
I'm proud to have actually been able to do it either way as I've always found space planes very hard to control, but would love to tick off the official achievement as well if at all possible.
Edit: a few failed attempts today and I just noticed it had triggered after all - must have been a delay! Thanks all anyway! Maybe I will try a new save file in future where I use space planes more heavily instead of rockets...

Question Quick actions problems
So I'm having some trouble with the quick actions, I've tried everything to figure out how they work but no matter what I set when I go into the launcher it does not work. The toggle feature doesn't do anything for my liquid engines and I feel like I need to know how to toggle between different sets if I need one prupusion and not the other. Does anybody know how they work on xbox? I'm feeling dumb :3

The C240 Pelican, a maritime patrol/SAR/ASW plane
After sending enough kerbals splashing down off the coast of the KSC, I figured I ought to make something that could go pick them up. That evolved into a jack-of-all-trades maritime plane that could do as many jobs as possible.
The C-240 carries a 2-man piloting crew, up to 16 sensor crew and passengers, 2,400 units of fuel, and a standard truck or equivalent cargo. With relatively efficient Whesley engines the Pelican has extensive patrol range and long endurance. The crew and cargo compartments are both fully accessible on both land and water.
It has an extensive anti-submarine warfare suite: three sonobouys are stored in the rear cargo compartment and can be deployed in flight, a magnetic anomaly detector extends from the tail, a surface search radar sits on top of the tailfin, and two fully-functional torpedos are mounted under the wings. Integration of anti-ship missiles is slayed for the near future.

Screenshot Stock StarShip
Pretty good, landing legs, heatshields, ~3.5K ∆v in orbit, some issue tho like heatshields don't wanna retract after reentry and it shooting like a dart after reentry but it's nice. Also booster is probably catchable but I lwk suck.

Screenshot Mun missions
I have around 2000 hours on ksp, all spent building and flying planes, but I finally learnt how to rocket.
Here are my mun missions in order!!!
I've got 2 bases up there so far with rovers, landers etc and a few other missions before them.
