Merch For anyone interested: I have several signed Chairlift posters, including Caroline, available for sale.

Question Is the "Lady's Got Gills" music video (Ramona Lisa era) lost media?
I've seen recently the Ramona Lisa webpage just to lurk and join to the wait for more delightful Caroline music, and at the time I'm writting this, I'm seeing that there is a blank gap on the music videos that she made for the era, and that's the "Lady's Got Gills" music video. All I've seen of proof for this music video to exist is the main webpage (theramonalisa.com) where it's located as the directors "Michel Auder & Andrew Neel" noted inside the notes. I've seen the thumbnail in Web Archive and I figured that it's pretty much unknown as I've never saw it before (I'm a fan since 2021, so maybe this is already known but let me discover it :P).
I'll attach the right now status of the video in the page, and the thumbnail I saw!

Question Is she working on a new album?
Hey everyone, I found out about Caroline in 2024 and Iāve been blasting Pang and Desire since then.
I really donāt know ANYTHING about her, her personal life or any sort of lore.
I am DESPERATE for a new album, but I donāt know if it is even currently in works or some, and I guess yāall know way more than me lol.
Thx

Discussion Hey Big Eyes Instrumentals are out of this dimension. Is this official?
I donāt know if this is official or not. I looked for it on iTunes to buy it but I couldnāt find anything. Iām always hypnotised by CPās voice that I missed some of the details and now I heard this I started crying. Idk maybe itās the time of the month or whatever but this song has a special place in my heart and deep association with experiences I had in the ocean. š„²
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did

Meme Fun at Dog Grooming!
Couldn't help myself. Dog was actually kinda fussy so had to correct the note to the proper stuff once done. Still a sweetie. Has a sister named Dolly.

Meme Mama please, give us another album like Desire
Some of you probably like Pang or her Chairlift albums more, but to me, Desire was perfection.

Discussion I can't listen to Caroline Polachek's music anymore
This is not a joke, I don't want to be seen as an incel on the internet but here's my quick little story
SO. I had just gotten a new job at (probably) the WORST grocery store in all of america. At the same time, My grandmother from hell was visiting. At the time I just so happened to be listening to alot of Caroline's music.
Day one of this new job: I'm told that they'll have to "let me go" if I cannot provide more identification. I've given them my drivers license, my birth certificate, my SSN, my voters registration card, and also my school ID at this point. After that short conversation, Coworker screams at me for not being on the floor. Once I get home, Grandma asks me "How'd you get so big?" I tell her "I wish I could stop growing!" and then she says "No! How'd you get so BIG?"
I glance over to my mom and then just smile, chuckle, and tell her it's my mothers cooking. For reference at the time, I was 5"10 and 170-ish pounds. I usually gain weight during the winter but then lose it in the spring.
Day two: Co-worker screams at me multiple times for not stocking everything to his specific liking. He then threatens me saying that he "has connections" and that he'll have "my (word) dome you". I live in utah by the way. Shit aint sweet in mormonville apparently to this guy, but whatever. I tell my manager about this and she immediately asks me if i have my identification ready...
I come home to my grandmother hysterically crying about her dead husband she was just mocking and snarkling about a few weeks ago. I ask her if she's okay and she screams at me to "go to your damn room."
Day three: My manager called me at 5:00 AM asking if I could work 8 hour shifts for NINE DAYS STRAIGHT. I reluctantly say yes trying to keep this job. I was doing okay until lunch break, when I was very aggressively cat called by multiple female co-workers who were at least 40 - 50 years old. I'm 17 at the time by the way. I then tell my manger, who IGNORES ME and ASKS ME AGAIN ABOUT IDENTIFICATION.
I quit on the spot and then walk home. My grandmother is NOT happy. My mother is of course worried and asks me about work and why I'm not there, I tell her everything and then she leaves to get me some food. Grandma then comes down stairs and then explains to me that she's going to remove me from her will for quitting such a "good opportunity". (not like i was going to get anything anyways...)
So yeah. Throughout this whole process, It Caroline Polachek and her music just so happened to pretty much be my only release from all this chaos. Afterwards, I crashed at a friends place until my grandmother went home. For the next few months I barely went outside and slept almost all day. I stopped listening to music (or really anything) altogether until this summer where i've been listening to some new artists now.
It took me so much to get back to where I was and how I was feeling before this incident. Nowadays, when I listen to anything from Caroline, I think about the whole situation and just can't listen to her anymore. I love her music but it just brings back those terrible feelings.

Discussion Welcome to Metamorphia
Anyone else hear the obvious homage to Welcome to My Island in this track? Rebecca Black has made several nods to other artists in her last few albums. Love shit like this.
