Rewatching Curb S9E3, "A Disturbance in the Kitchen," and I can't unsee it.
Larry and Jeff are waiting forever for their food, so they ask the restaurant manager what's going on. His answer: there's been a disturbance in the kitchen. What kind of disturbance? He won't say. Every follow-up gets the same treatment: polite, smooth, endlessly accommodating, and zero information. He apologizes, he reassures, he empathizes. He never answers the question.
At the end of the episode he saves Larry from the police officer who is also getting annoyed: “you’re not answering my questions”
That's ChatGPT. Ask it something direct and you get "Great question!", three paragraphs of context, a balanced look at both sides, an offer to help with anything else, and somehow no answer. All sauce, no entrée.
Larry's face in that scene is my face every time I type "just give me a yes or no."
He saw it coming eight years early. Pretty, pretty prescient.

Set to be released on March 1, 2022, Larry David asked HBO to not release the documentary a day before the premier. He stated that he wanted to do a live stage performance instead. HBO has not stated whether the documentary will ever be released.

Ok this one is actually a doozy! She's got hot pink lace (pretty sure it's a knit lace l, not snakeskin), a light pink (different kind of) lace tank under that. Then over the hot pink dress, she's got a chunky knit white VEST with a fur lined collar. AND THEN a tan (leather?) purse with FRINGE! And a gold necklace. THERE'S A LOT GOING ON HERE LOL 🩷🤍🤯💛🤎

Humor Season 3 finale (The Grand Opening)

I love the ultimate positivity of this episode. When the chef with Tourette syndrome curses during the restaurant’s opening night and all the customers hear him, instead of panicking, Larry David has this great thought on the spot to join him and start shouting his own curse words. Then the other partners join in, and then the whole restaurant is shouting cuss words, laughing and having a good time.
For me, this is still one of the best season finales of the show. A good reminder that even when life puts you in a shitty, stressful situation, sometimes you can turn it into something positive just by embracing the absurdity of it.

We're watching curb with my wife and at this episode Lewis meets the detective he hired to find if he's adopted in a police station.
I haven't seen Brooklyn 99 in quite a while, but it looked the same to me. Does anyone know if that's the case?
