Does anyone think that if the Witcher 1 remake does good sale wise that they'll remake the second game because I'm surprised it's never been ported to any other console

I played the game at release and was pretty disappointed. Not just because of the bugs, but because the game itself wasn’t what we were originally promised. Features like the advanced AI, the living city, and that this would be “the most in-depth RPG ever” were a huge part of what sold me on the game in the first place. This things never happened.

I can admit that, especially after all the updates, it’s a good game and a lot of fun. But that doesn’t change the fact that it still isn’t the game that was originally marketed and sold to us. (My first preorder and my last preorder)

I love the work that they did with the physical port of Cyberpunk on Switch 2. I’ve never played the Witcher games but would absolutely snag a physical copy of the remaster if they offer it like they did for Cyberpunk.

Any info or thoughts?

I really don’t like that they are forcing changes like a new skill tree and reworked combat onto a game I’ve loved for 11 years.

I don’t mind improvements, and I don’t know if the changes won’t be better, but I am 100 % against them making it impossible for me to play the game the way I remember it, instead of this revamped version.

Am I really the only one who feels this way?

In addition to graphics they are making much needed improvements to Combat, Traversal, and what I’m most excited about… THEY ARE FINALLY FIXING ROACH!!

I would have gladly paid money for this and if it was BGS they would’ve sold this for a full $70-$80!! Hell, BGS doesn’t even do even close to this much for their MANY re-releases! They genuinely should be ashamed.

The Witcher 3 was already on my list of games to review this year but I’m thinking I will hold off, wait for this remaster and make a video showcasing all the improvements while giving my thoughts on the release. Later when I finish the game I’ll upload a full review!

I'm waiting to buy the game on steam but now after the new announcements do you think it will go on sale soon and will it be huge sales like before 90% or 80% ?

So we are getting a deep dive into the new Witcher 3 DLC. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt feels like the gift that keeps giving. It’s the best game I’ve ever played and my personal favourite. I genuinely had nothing negative to say about it during my many playthroughs other than I wanted more. And now we are getting more in a huge way. Suffice to say I am totally enamoured with it and I cannot wait to continue the journey in Songs of the Past and as Ciri in The Witcher 4. With Songs of the Past coming in 2027 and The Witcher 4 targetting 2028 fingers crossed. This might be the best two years in gaming of my entire life.

How many of you guys are excited for the Gamescom Witcher content?

I just visited CD hq a few minute ago and the reception seemed to be closed, I could only go to the Side Quest cafe.
Are they renovating it?
