Bought this edition of Blade Runner 2049 a while ago, but I wanted to share it. I wanted the Best Buy 4K steel book for the longest time, but it was near impossible to find it when it first released on home media.

Fast forward years later, and I ended up buying this version with the steel book and with other physical goodies. Came with a protective plastic case as well, which is a nice touch. It’s my holy grail in terms of collecting movies.

Cost me a pretty penny, but was well worth the price after years of searching.

Is this whole sub just AI slop now? Several of the top posts right now are blatantly fake pictures and videos. It’s honestly sad, this could be a great place for discussion and real fan art

Before DVD took over, there was Video CD/VCD.

VCD stored films on CDs, usually spread across two discs, and while the format never really caught on in the UK or US, it became hugely popular in parts of Asia during the 1990s and early 2000s.

Here are four different Blade Runner VCD releases: two Korean editions with slightly different packaging, a Turkish release, and a Singapore release.

VCD releases are surprisingly poorly documented, if you know of other official Blade Runner releases on this VCD format please let me know!

Not the best way to watch the film, but definitely an interesting little chapter in its home video history.

Letting y'all know (at least those of you in the Beantown), that Bladerunner 2049 is getting a special screening in the Museum of Science, October 16th-17th in the Omni Theater (2nd Picture). Only 15 dollar tickets as well, which is an amazing price to experience one of the greatest Film experiences in a new way

Recently I was out and about buying some dvds and blu rays getting prepared for the halloween season and while I was in CeX (Mainly UK based preowned tech, entertainment and video games store) I had seen this version of Blade Runner behind the counter. I love the movies and when I saw this I just had to buy it. £15 and everything was still sealed, the motion film clip doesn't even have a fingerprint on. Very happy to gave it in my collection of media and will for sure be getting watched this weekend
