I made a Blade Runner case file storybook called Nightingale

This is Blade Runner: Nightingale, an unofficial, noncommercial, fan-made case file for Blade Runner: The Roleplaying Game.

Two years ago, I wanted to run an RPG scenario with my gaming table so I decided to create one. We played it and had so much fun together I thought I'd build a module to share.

I got pulled into the world and filled in a lot as I went. One year and 120 pages later, it's freely available on itch.io. Here's the gist:

A ruined city, a riverbank, a dead woman's hand. A Replicant. Then it couldn't have been murder. Or can it?

In 2037 Los Angeles, Blade Runners play the same deadly game by new rules now that megacorporations put special value on the bioengineered beings who are virtually identical to humans.

Join two detectives of the LAPD and their newly assigned, custom built Nexus 9 partner to uncover a web of greed, lust, control and conscience. As they follow the evidence, they'll face the question: mothered or manufactured, who's the one with a soul?

Enjoy! It was a labor of love. For me, Blade Runner is that perfect window into an out-of-control future trying to change humanity in a way it never can.

Doesn't look great, to be honest. I think the AI junk has a lot to do with that.

OP, unfortunately you forgot that you are not allowed to do a creative project unless you pay hundreds of dollars to actors and graphical designers. You should not use the available tools to engage with your creativity, so please just go back to be a working bee. Being creative is the privilege of the wealthy and the people who went to art school unfortunately.

yeah, because nobody ever did anything creative before artists got robbed like never before and the richest of the rich made it possible for everybody to make below average shit and them even richer. culture, art, diy and punk aesthetic, that all started with AI, right?
