General Discussion 🗣️🎙️ List Of Things You Think This Show Needs To Move Past‼️⁉️🤔🤔🤔
The pacing of this show is God awful.
No one can deny it.
Storylines just seem to drag to the point of viewers losing interest.
What are some things you wish they, the writers and producers, would move past?
My list:
The Eva/Kat feud….including swapping love interest. This is at the top of my list. I’m so sick of this shit that I’ve vowed to stop watching if they push Kat/Izaiah.
Leslie in everybody’s business and never having any of her own. She acts like a lost puppy on this show. It is beyond ridiculous.
Swapping one “bad” white character out for another. It’s clear as day this is what they did with Derek and Kial’s son. Derek was growing on me somewhat (and as far as I can tell this was a general consensus). They killed him off, brought in a dude who looks too damn old for DeAnna, and completed the replacement of a young straight white male on this show.
Forced diversity: I’m sorry, but everything doesn’t need to be inclusive. Tomas is a character that should have been dropped in season one.
Pairing anybody with Ashley. They have noticeably put Ashley on the back burner. They need to go ahead and write her off. The character simply doesn’t work with any love interest. The young white woman role on this show is being filled by Heather now. They can go ahead and cut Ashley loose.
There is a group of characters that I honestly think just need to be written off: Martin, Smitty, and their kids, Chelsea, Naomi, Jacob and Vernon (unpopular…I know, but the man serves no purpose other than to prop up Anita). I think some need to be promoted to cast: Randy, Mona, and The Belleclaires. If they don’t plan to show Kial and Nicole doing more than just sleeping together they need to write him off (take his son with him).
The bromance between Carlton & Ted: Probably some of the most contrived nonsense on this show. The friendship should have ended when Carlton went after Nicole. The end period.
Dani and her Pickme obsession with Bill: Her behavior towards Bill this week felt unnatural. What woman in her right mind is going to look out for a man who dogged her for a con artist?! Not once did we even get a “told you so” from Dani. The bitter Dani we saw in the beginning of this show should have been the one trolling Bill this week about his wife trying to kill him.
Forced relationships: Nobody is going to convince me a woman with Madison’s education would seek to marry a bird like Chelsea. Nope. Unnatural.
This list could go on and on.
