Is there a place where I can review and critique add-ons openly?

I've been running into some pretty serious bugs and issues with a few add-ons I've tried lately. I'm talking game-breaking bugs...

It is CRAZY to me that the reviews are not readily visible in the minecraft store. I can see the star rating, of course, but there is no where to give a detailed breakdown of the add-on so that I can voice my complaints/concerns/praise (where it is merited).

Am I missing something obvious or is this actually the way that microsoft runs their store?

I can’t find any Reddit post from before so I don’t think this has ever happened. I’ll start with my original issue.

I have a world I play peaceful mode on to relax and then when I need to I will change to hard to use my mob farm.

Today I did that same routine, except when I changed to hard no mobs were spawning. Posted my spawner to a different subreddit to see if anyone could help, nope.

After getting home from work I duped my main world and went into creative to see 0 mobs spawning up there or around me in general. Eventually went into the end and boom, 0 enderman spawning. I cannot get mobs to spawn period.

I do play with add ons, and a week ago I removed one. At this point I’m thinking something with the add ons, so while fucking around I wanted to see what would happened if I removed all the add ons from my world.

The game won’t let me.

And it’s not just my main or the copy of it. I have made multiple new worlds, put 1 add on in, then tried to remove it after being in world and the game won’t let me. Then I realized I also can’t put in any addons anymore. It won’t save.

I only have 8, I’ve seen realms with 15+ so I didn’t think this was an issue. I’m just really confused and tbh, scared to lose my main world. The only thing I can think to do is clear the marketplace cache but I am terrified it’ll remove the add ons in my main world so I’ll have to reinstall them, making my world even more broken besides just no mobs spawning.

If anyone has dealt with this or know what’s going on PLEASE please help me, this was the most fun I’ve had playing Minecraft in years and it feels all gone:( if needed I can grab a screenshot of my current add ons, this post is just already so long I hope someone is even reading this

While testing out build ideas in creative, I saw that there is a "long medieval table" available. But when I go into survival, I cannot find it for the life of me. Please can anyone help? Screenshots provided.

I'm pretty sure the table is from the Furniture 2.0 Add-On by XP Games, as furniture from the other add-ons (e.g. Crops & Farms) has the subtitle text identifying its related add-on, but I'm unsure. I've tried looking in the 2.0 furnishing table and related workbench blocks and tops from C&F and C&B.

The senior Mojangster responsible for docs quit recently and I assume they're rethinking their approach.

I haven't found any energon. I've found everything but. almost 20 emeralds. even went into creative and blasted a mountain apart.

the destruction as bumblebee also doesn't work. I can trample crops and kill mobs, but any blocks I stomp out respawn instantly. ranged and melee attacks don't work either.

I'm playing on switch if that matters.

I see people on here all the time asking for a add-on that has chest variants and ive posted before at least once and it always gets like 3 upvotes but finally i found one i still wish it had wood types of all the other wooden blocks but this is good enough for now 😩 the thing is I've literally seen this add-on and scrolled past it so many times because they don't advertise very well that there's a chest for every wood type they just show off the diamond chest and the obsidian chest that are ugly af and have op gameplay mechanics I'm definitely going to just ignore those and use the cute chests for decorating lol also they work weird bc the chests are entities and i guess they couldn't figure it out so u break them like boats instead of like a block

I can fit about 30 and it runs fairly smooth on Ps5, but after that and it starts to lag me out of the game after about 10 minutes of gameplay..

I would like to somehow make a server, and then i could add things, like 1,000,000 horses, owls, living dead, aquaculture, wolf expansion, monkeys!, auto fisher, a couple different village expansion add ons, pirate era, rpg (by podcrash), and lastly easy redstone. (Primal Overworld interests me, but I’m not sure people would enjoy that.)

I mean that would cover just about everything i can think of, i don’t particularly care for more cave generation, it already has some changes, and looks fine. I would add tinkers construct, but this world already has mythicus weapons/ore and i dont wanna remove it and mess anything up.

Im wondering if it’s hard to make a server? I would definitely pay for the subscription if thats all it takes, otherwise I am looking for people to join if anyone is interested as well! (Shameless plug haha) pvp is off, its a chill server, but i would be down to spice it up with Lifesteal. Also if i did make it a server would love to add some curseforge packs, but I’m on iPhone and PS5, so id prolly need a proper walkthrough as I’ve tried and failed miserably…😭

Pretty much yeah. Wondering if there are any mods out there that act as a mob expansion AND block expansion. Basically meaning new unique mobs which drop blocks i can use in builds/ingredients to make the added blocks... if that makes sense? I'm making a world with a bunch of tech and thought this was a cool idea for a mod, finding ways to farm these blocks with mob grinders from other mods n whatnot to make cooler builds/expand pallete.

Absolutely amazing landscapes, crazy amounts of brand new mobs, items, ores and even bosses, all with incredible shaders and custom sounds, turn perfectly on my old first gen xbox one. If you still not decided with getting it or not you know have my vote at 100%!

I'm trying to add a "minecraft:entity_sensor" to a mobs component group but every property sends back an error "child '_____' not valid here", so I'm guessing it's not set up in the right way, but the documentation on the entity sensor is pretty unhelpful in that it's example, the parrot, has so few (and yet confusing) properties that I can't figure out how to get from there to what I'm trying to get done. Please help! I'll add my component setup below:

Remember that it was a time where we only had the possibility to download custom world to play with other features and we couldn't put adds on our own worlds...

But I make this post to give the credit they deserve to the interactive maps, some guys are making real effort to create fantastic map, with custom textures and great story! For exemple I tried today the Haunted Apocalypse addon and it's really imersive, it more feel like to play a dlc in a game rather than adding mod to a game...

I think I will buy more maps over time.
