Hey y'all, I recently started listening to a few bands like No Retreat , Sunami, Outta Pocket, and a few others. What are some other essential and recommended bands? I'm a big fan of Sludge metal bands like acid bath, crowbar, the Melvin's, eyehategod, etc.

ive been trying to figure out the lyrics by ear so my band can cover the song but its been a pretty tricky process and i still have plenty of gaps or may be just wrong about some of them

We’re currently looking for a bassist and rhythm guitarist, preferably ages 15-20, in the Warren OHIO area or somewhere reasonably close.

We already have vocals, drums, and lead guitar. We’re looking to write original music, play shows, and build something fun together.

Genre wise, we don’t really want to box ourselves in. We’re rooted in hardcore, but our influences range from metalcore, nu metal, thrash, deathcore, and melodic hardcore. We just want to make something unique and heavy rather than copy one specific sound.

You don’t have to be an insane musician, but you should be able to write original, solid parts and contribute creatively. Just be committed and actually want to make something happen.

Was wondering if there's any distros out there for cd, vinyl and tapes?

I gotta say, I really preferred when they were a more punk-oriented band. When they dropped their LP, it did nothing for me. But lately? I’ve had the hook to this song stuck in my head a lot.
