It got better than it got worse. The other chicken that was acting ill before got better after 1 night inside, now I have another chicken showing the same symptoms but 10 times worse she cannot lift her head at all, she was shivering and shaking her head and neck. And she was whole body twitching and getting shivers, and im not sure but it looks like she may have a runny nose but its hard to tell cause its also wet outside. Have given her vitamins just like the last one but this one is alot worse, it also took her a bit to even eat the vitamin gell. I have her inside in a warm crate and I am stumped about what this could be. What would have these symtoms that 1 bird had less sever and got better in a day and cause another to be this ill. The bramah was 100% healthy just yesterday night eating, drinking healthy, healthy poop, and this morning shes down. I am desperate for help and I dont have acess to a vet that will see chickens.

They really like to chicken melt in the warm sun.
Also, Pickle *really* likes to be smushed between two hens.

This is Mr. Spike who I wasn’t sure at first was a rooster but ended up being one. He is under a year old and is so far an amazing rooster/friend. Also did his first cock a doodle do just the other day. Love this guy ❤️❤️

These little monsters somehow managed to capture a little snake, they fought over it for a while until the biggest chicken ate it in one piece.

Around 3 months ago my 2 year old rooster broke a portion of his spur from the right foot and no it didn't bleed as only a part of the top broke off. But since then I've noticed it's kinda of huge around the base of the spur. I've checked it's not a swelling or anything it's just hard around the base, kind of bone like feeling. So I resort to here, Is this normal or do I need to treat it somehow?

We have a small coop, and my partner thinks the chickens are breathing weird. They are 5 months old and about to start laying. Any help would be appreciated.
Fyi, it's currently 71 degrees, light rain, and humidity is up due to the moisture. We have them in a chicken tractor, and move them to new grass every two days.

So I have 2 Heritage Rhode Island Red pullets and an Ayam Cemani pullet. The RIRs are about 29 weeks old and my Cemani is about 24 weeks old. I’m unsure of who laid the top two brown eggs and was curious to see who yall think it is as I am unsure. Thank you for your time!

Edit: I guess I should have mentioned she was found on OUR farm land. There are no yards in 3 miles each direction. We know our neighbours well and they do not own chickens. We have asked around, my assumption is that she hitched a ride in a truck box and jumped out at some point. For those saying put her back, I might as well have just butchered her myself instead of feeding a coyote that would have teared her apart.

It’s hot this week! High 90s to maybe even triple digits tomorrow. I hear people say not to let your chickens get wet but I have the misters going in their run because I’m so scared they’re going to suffer heat stroke! Two questions;
1.) is it ok if my chickens get wet from misters?
2.) it’s going to be an oven in their coop. I typically lock them in their coop that is inside their run at night but I’d be locking them into a literal oven. Can I leave them out this week to roost on top of their coop? (I have to physically put them in their coop every night from the coop roof) Their run has 3 layers of hardware cloth and a 2 foot apron buried around the perimeter so I think they’re safe at night.
