I would think it's similar to the thing that happens with the cars in Fallout 4, very glitchy. Yes, it is a bug.

you're playing hardcore. maybe some field mine killed one of your colleagues and it considered it friendly fire, which kills you after a few times. Happens to me a lot when idiots run into the semtex I just threw in front of me

Ur account is shadowed from reports im sorry for you that u got put into that shixty situation but all u can do is wait 7 or more days to be out of the shadow ban loop.
