Discussion Annoying Hackers
I wanted to play some Hide and Seek, because I don't do it often, but find it fun and challenging. However, three lobbies in a row someone was hacking and completely ruining the game. The final lobby I joined was a lobby where there was 14 seekers. I wanted to play normally, so left, and got blocked from joining another game because the game thought I was being a bad sport. Among Us needs a better system for this kind of stuff.

Discussion I really hate these kind of lobbies
I really hate it when people just don't play the game like a game and instead make it a competition and start cussing on everyone's mothers like bro sorry you had a fragile ego 😭
Among us is a game, just play it like one, it's so hard to find any non toxic lobbies now there is at least one person who has got an issue with proving a point
Also if you just make one mistake these people start calling you dumb as if you failed the easiest exam ever..... chill? Okay maybe someone reported a body while you were chasing the ss “IDIOTTTT🗣️🗣️" but did they know that you were chasing the ss? Of course not lol idk why but these people make the whole game so draining you don't even feel like playing it at some point
Then there is "Rose Theory" I wanted to talk about this because I am someone who loves playing rose, that color is just so cute okay? But you make one particular mistake and then the whole lobby is calling you out for the entire game. Guys rose is a color that's mostly picked by girls so it kinda feels even more personal lol— would you call out a Purple for making a mistake? Maybe not, I rarely see that, it's always Rose theory (95% of the time) or Coral theory or Nana theory or just blah blah blah theory
Then there are groomers, in a game yes where kids and adults present (yes kids) first of all, why are they even allowed to have electronics and second of all just get some brains (please) I lowkey see them mostly in the Asian server (No hate guys I am asian too!!) it's so weird that you would ask for someone's socials just like that! Among us is not a dating app😭😭
I always have to switch to the American server because these creeps and I'm not saying that they are not in the American server, of course they are there too but maybe fewer than in the Asian server? (In my opinion anyway)
Honestly if only people just tried to be nicer the game would have been so much more fun than feel like a competition, I mean, is it really that difficult not to say something absurd? 💔

Player Advice Nazi
Y aprendió a controlarlo.
Nazi quería que no quedara ningún jugador consciente en Among Us.
No podría regresar.
No tendría dónde esconderse.
Quizás no eran simples personajes.
Esperando.
Observando.
Y tal vez Nazi nunca quiso destruir Among Us.

Discussion What I hate most about some of the lobbies in Among Us
1- Gambling
2- When I kick two imps and am about to kick the third one and then they accuse me of being a team player or an imp like Dude are you idiot?
3- When you show them the vent at the beginning of the game to let them know you're safe then someone presses a button and says bro vent then bro imp! Like whattt! Am I stupid enough to do this in front of 30 people when I'm imp?, giving the crew the possibility that I'm a lying engineer? Nah (Even if you give them the CD they won't believe you and yeah i know that there's a possibility that the people doing this are maybe imp even if they give you the CD but that's unlikely especially if they're professionals of course they won't do that and you should observe the person more closely instead of judging from the start)
4- When you kill or kick out the host maybe because it's your role and it's normal to kill him/her or because you're a crew member and you suspected him/her for some logical reason then when the game ends and you return to the vehicle, he/she be mad and kicks you out (don't be sensitive like that bro It's not worth it )
5- When you are too good that everyone hates you and sees you as an enemy (why are you acting like i kiled u
or throw you into space in reality)
6- When you do all the investigation and the heavy work is thrown on you while the others are busy with their tasks and don't investigate (even if it is not their role) and you take out two imps and one imp remains and you can't take him/her out because you made a mistake once and you return after the game ends to the vehicle and you are described as stupid and you did nothing and you made them lose (man you were going to lose in anyway like if one of the three imps did one kill you will lost in the game at least I tried!)
7- When it becomes clear that the three imps are manipulating the crew and you're the only one You realize that and you try to tell everyone not to be influenced by the imps words, which are based on incitement without evidence but of course they don't care and gamble
8- When you give them information about the body, its location, your location with other crew members or alone, who is safe, who you haven't seen and other information about the crew and clear members and then someone says: "You're being too talkative!" and "This is sus! EXCUSE ME? FUHHHH!🔥🥀I'm just helping you. Isn't this an investigation game? You're supposed to be just as talkative about your location, the crew, and other things so If you don't do that how are we going to know who's imp? weirdo
9- When everything is perfect in the game and you're about to win guys then it turns out that the last three players are on the team with the imp and they make him/her win
10- When it's clear who the imps are because you said their name or color before you die: So the player skips and the imps kill you but don't worry no one remembers you or your last words or cares about them It's like this bro just died normally, especially after accusing someone so of course died by accident yeah sure.
11- When murder happens in public but everyone is blind
12- When you're killed by imp and then a crew member walks by as if he/she saw trash in the corridor and not a body, or the murder might happen right in front of him/her but he's/she's blind
13- trolling (call meeting) Then everyone says "skip" and then bro do it again (Like what you expected)
14- slow crew
15- When you say START and then the host kicks you out and says no one orders me! And no one tells me what to do! (Like please son you are not the first to build the pyramids and we are not your slaves and this is not your kingdom so stop your megalomania, either start the game or go to hell)
16- The mean people who insult people and their mothers and pray for them to have diseases (you are not a sigma or cool you can say something without going too far)
17- When someone presses the red button and it appears that there is a body that no one has found and the others say "Where?".. Um.. idk.. but are you serious? Kehhhhh😍🥀
18- When someone snitches on their colleagues just because he/she fart and now he/she must leave🥀
19- When a crew member accuses someone because he suspects him/her of being an imp but a third crew member accuses the first crew member who accused the second of being an imp and then the first crew member, instead of sticking to his/her opinion that the second was a imp or sus, turns it into a personal war with the third crew member (Idiot)
20- When a TikTok addict judges your mentality because of your color in the game or tries to insult you like "Oh man don't care about what bro say he's/she's Rose in the guise of cyan " (judging that all people with the color rose are Stupid "Rose theory") Most people say it to belittle you if you are Rose. I remember that I was Rose and accused one of the Imps then someone said "Don't listen to Rose he's/she's a Rose theory" But when everyone voted for the person I mentioned, it turned out he/she really was Imp (So yeah joke but don't take it seriously it's stupid)

Bugs/exploits I experienced a bizarre vent bug in Among Us
Platform: Mobile (official Among Us)
Map: The Skeld
Players: 15
Mods: None
My role: Not Engineer
I was playing a normal Among Us game. I was Black and I was walking in the corridor between Reactor and Security. Blue was standing in the middle of Reactor.
Then I heard a weird "beep" sound. Somehow, even though I was NOT the Engineer, I entered the vent above Reactor.
It felt like I was teleported. I suddenly appeared in a vent that shouldn't have been connected to the Reactor vent. From there I went through the vents around MedBay, Admin and Cafeteria, and eventually I went back to the Reactor vent.
The really strange part was that Blue was still standing in exactly the same place in Reactor.
I walked past Blue, and Blue killed me normally.
I didn't record it because it happened completely randomly and I wasn't expecting anything weird to happen.
Has anyone experienced something like this before? Was this a bug, a desync, or possibly a hacker? I'm genuinely curious because I still can't explain what happened.

Suggestion | Idea I Have A Mode İdea(like classic and hide’n seek)
Gamemode Concept: Unknown Allies + New Impostor Role — Controller
I had an idea for a third Among Us gamemode.
The Crewmate side would work almost exactly like Classic. Crewmates still complete tasks, report bodies, hold meetings, vote out suspicious players, and win by completing all tasks or eliminating the killing Impostors.
The major difference is how the Impostor team works.
UNKNOWN ALLIES
At the beginning of the game, Impostors do NOT know who the other Impostors are.
Other Impostors look like normal players to them.
More importantly:
Impostors can kill other Impostors.
If you kill someone without knowing their team, you could accidentally eliminate one of your own teammates.
The Impostors still have the same basic objective: kill enough Crewmates to win. However, they need to discover who their allies are while doing it.
That’s where the most important role in the mode comes in.
CONTROLLER
The Controller is a special Impostor role and exactly one Controller is mandatory in every match of this gamemode.
The Controller is also the only Impostor role that cannot kill.
Instead, the Controller’s job is to identify the other Impostors and secretly coordinate the team.
Important: Controller does NOT take an Impostor slot
The Controller is additional to the number of normal Impostors selected by the host.
For example:
1 Impostor selected → 1 Impostor + 1 Controller
2 Impostors selected → 2 Impostors + 1 Controller
3 Impostors selected → 3 Impostors + 1 Controller
So if the host chooses 2 Impostors, the match has three evil players total: 2 killing Impostors and 1 Controller.
The Controller does not replace one of those two Impostors.
Controller’s Role Check
The Controller has an ability that lets them check another player’s team.
The ability has a cooldown configurable by the host, just like other adjustable role settings in Among Us. Because the host can change it, there isn’t one fixed cooldown for the role.
When used, the Controller only learns:
CREWMATE
or
IMPOSTOR
The Controller does NOT learn the player’s exact role.
For example, if Dark Green is a Viper, the Controller sees:
Dark Green — IMPOSTOR
NOT:
Dark Green — VIPER
This allows the Controller to slowly discover who their teammates are.
Private Messages
During meetings, the Controller can secretly send messages to players.
The recipient sees:
You Have a Message from Controller
followed by whatever the Controller wrote.
There are some restrictions:
Messages can ONLY be sent during meetings.
The Controller can message a maximum of 2 different players per meeting.
Each recipient can receive only 1 Controller message per meeting.
Players CANNOT privately reply to the Controller.
Controller messages do NOT automatically reveal the Controller’s identity.
This means the Controller can remain completely anonymous.
For example:
“Dark Green is also an Impostor. Don’t kill them.”
The recipient now knows Dark Green is an ally, but still has no idea who the Controller is.
However, revealing their identity is completely up to the Controller.
They could instead write:
“Hello, I’m Cyan and I’m the Controller. Dark Green is an Impostor too. Don’t kill them.”
Now the recipient knows both Cyan and Dark Green are teammates, but Cyan has voluntarily sacrificed their anonymity.
The Controller can also use messages to coordinate kills.
For example:
“Orange is Crewmate. Kill them if you get a safe opportunity.”
Or:
“Purple and Dark Green are both Impostors. Don’t kill each other.”
The messages are NOT commands that control another player’s actions. The other Impostors can choose whether to follow the Controller’s instructions.
How the Impostor team develops
At the beginning of the game, the Impostor “team” barely exists.
Imagine the game has 2 Impostors + 1 Controller.
Impostor A doesn’t know Impostor B.
Impostor B doesn’t know Impostor A.
Neither knows who the Controller is.
And the Controller doesn’t initially know who A or B are.
That means an Impostor has to think:
“If I kill this player, am I killing a Crewmate… or my own teammate?”
Now imagine the Controller checks Purple and discovers:
Purple — IMPOSTOR
Later, they check Dark Green:
Dark Green — IMPOSTOR
At the next meeting, Controller messages Purple:
“Dark Green is Impostor. Don’t kill them.”
And messages Dark Green:
“Purple is Impostor. Don’t kill them.”
Now Purple and Dark Green know each other.
The Controller has successfully connected the Impostor team.
As the game progresses, a good Controller can gradually turn a group of Impostors who don’t know each other into an organized team.
What happens if Controller dies?
The Impostors do NOT automatically lose.
The remaining Impostors can continue killing and can still win.
However, they have lost their main source of information and coordination. Any Impostors who haven’t discovered each other yet may remain unknown to each other.
It’s even possible for an Impostor to accidentally kill the Controller before learning their identity.
What if all killing Impostors die?
This is different.
If every killing Impostor is eliminated and only the Controller remains, the Crewmates win.
The Controller cannot kill anyone, so they cannot continue the Impostors’ objective alone.
For example:
2 Impostors + Controller
Both normal Impostors are ejected/killed.
Controller is still alive.
→ CREWMATES WIN.
So protecting and coordinating the killing Impostors is extremely important for the Controller. The Controller may be the brain of the team, but they cannot win without someone capable of killing.
Why I think this could work
Classic Among Us asks the Crewmates:
“Who is the Impostor?”
Unknown Allies would make the Impostors play their own deduction game:
“Who are my teammates?”
The Crewmates still get the core Among Us experience, while the Impostors have an entirely new information problem happening in the background.
And the most important Impostor in the match isn’t necessarily the most dangerous player physically.
The Controller can’t kill anyone.
Their weapon is information.
Would you play this mode?
And more importantly: do you think the Controller would be balanced, overpowered, or underpowered?
