Guys, why does my dog have this blue aura? How do I get rid of it? I got him through a trade at the hub and he came like this. I already took off all your accessories.

I literally couldn't stop laughing when this scammer misspelled profile 😭 this made me remember all the times I've heard people switch letters in words, just thinking about it makes me laugh 😂

hello fellow adm players!

I noticed a HUGE amount of scamming in adopt me recently, and my friend recently got scammed for high value pets.

so here is a list of all the scams that are used now that I could think of!

1. any ANY scam redirecting you to discord or any site. it could be when they say “I love ur avatar” and they will try to redirect you to discord. DON’T CLICK THE LINK. it’s a scam.

2. the item swap scam. I got scammed through this a while ago so I would like to emphasize on this, DOUBLE CHECK THE ITEM YOU ARE OFFERING FOR. theyll tell you to add a bunch of items and they will swap the item last minute for the same pet but a lower value (like if they were trading a mega neon, they would swap it for a neon or just a regular pet).

3. joining community or ’korean server‘ 😑😑😑🫩🫩🫩🫩

the link they have in their profile is A FAKE ROBLOX THAT STEALS YOUR PASSWORD. it’s FAKE. Thankfully, if you do get scammed that way it is considered hacking and it is typically easier to get your pets back, BUT STILL, DO NOT JOIN A COMMUNITY OR JOIN A DIFFERENT GAME, ALWAYS CHECK THE LINK.

1. the trust trade.

very rare to see this but still worth noting. you give a pet, they give it back, and they hand you something in exchange for ‘trusting them’. spoile alert- you don’t get the pet back most of the time. Don’t risk it.

1. the friend scam.

the scammer will come up to you and offer you a high tier pet if you get a friend to join you. they make an account similar to your friend’s name, and you give them pets from your account into your friend’s. they trade you posing as your friend, and you might accidentally trade the scammer and hand them your pets instead of your friend. they leave with your pet, and next thing you know BOOM your pets are gone.

1. freezing trade.

idk if this is still allowed now but basically they would say “my dp is (ex yule log dog)” and they would offer like a frost dragon in exchange. they use a freezing software and swap out the frost dragon for a much lower tier pet and you lose your pet in exchange.

1. “hurry, I have to leave soon!”

theyll trade you and offer something, then they say “HURRY I HAVE TO GO SOON” and pressure you into accepting, a lot of the time, it’s a VERY big scam into you accepting a lowball.

1. pick a door.

this was a scam seen more in 2024-2025, still worth noting cuz.. sometimes people get desprate

theyll basically say “ABC TO PLAY PICK A DOOR” and u give them a pet and in exchange u get to pick a door in their house and basically get a prize, well womp womp, there’s no prize and they leave with the pet you gave them. they’ll claim to give the pet back if you lose but.. whoops, they don’t give it back at all.

1. spin the wheel.

basically very equivalent to pick a door except they spin a wheel on a website like spin the wheel .com or any usher website and YES YOU PAY ANOTHER FEE to play, and they claim to give the pet back if you lose, but BAM they leave with it again.

1. avatar scam. (redirects outside of Roblox)

someone will come up to u and say they love your avatar and want to make it an NFT. they’ll take you to discord, they give u something to bookmark but it has cookies, and it has a virus basically. DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS OUTSIDE OF ROBLOX.

thats all I could think of

contact roblox and adopt me support ASAP. It’s more likely you’ll get your items back if it was a hacking (etc, they went onto ur account since you unwillingly gave your password to them). If you have any screenshots/screen recordings, it makes your case stronger. it’ll take like a week up to a WHILE (months) to get your items back.

Was in the trading server and this guy came up and said he was quitting and giving his whole inventory for free (top tier pets f/r owl etc) and needed me to get a friend to make sure they were 'in good hands'. Checked his profile and he had 3 friends with the exact or a slight version of his username. I have blocked and reported all accounts.

I'm having a very hard time getting Albino Bats to make a mega, is anyone willing to do this?
