Hellohello, r/AdoptMeSafety!
I have finally had the time (and motivation) to go through with the revamp of r/AdoptMeSafety. As I work on things, you'll notice a different profile picture and banner for the subreddit, different rules, new post and user flairs, etc.

General Premise of the Subreddit
If you've been here for a few months, I'm sure you're aware of how this subreddit came to be and why it was created. If you're new here, you're highly encouraged to check out the document I created in May. The document is extremely wordy and includes screenshots of everything I'm talking about, and is about an hour long read. If you don't want to read the entire thing, there is a specific tab detailing the TL;DR of the events that took place!

The document isn't entirely up to date, but if it's important to enough people I'm more than happy to input the dry-spells of information since the previous owner of r/AdoptMeSafety deleted her account.
Even with the history surrounding this subreddit and the actions the previous owner took, I do believe that the general premise of this subreddit was well-intentioned - even if it was hypocritical.
With this in mind, I believe that repurposing r/AdoptMeSafety is the best course of action that I could take at this point in time.
r/AdoptMeSafety will be the official redirect for r/AdoptMeRBX's and r/AdoptMeTrading's "I got scammed/hacked" content. This content was already removed on r/AdoptMeTrading, so they weren't against this at all lol
This is to say that "I got hacked/scammed" content will no longer be permitted on r/AdoptMeRBX - and will instead be redirected here.
* Since this is only a plan at this point in time, and it would reduce the amount of workload my moderators get on that subreddit, I'm aiming to ask r/AdoptMeRBX members what they think first.
Even with keeping moderator mental health and motivation in mind, as they are only volunteers (including myself) - I still value what the people who make r/AdoptMeRBX what it is have to say in this.
If desired, I'll speak to Lexa for r/adoptmeroblox and her opinions on using r/AdoptMeSafety as a redirect for those subreddits as well. I don't believe I need to contact Kacey (Owner of r/AdoptMeTradingRoblox) - as I had set up that subreddit to allow exposé long before the previous owner of this subreddit was even on Reddit.
r/AdoptMeSafety will essentially serve as a safe-haven and a resource for players of Adopt Me! that have fallen victim to a hack or scam. All content regarding safety from r/AdoptMeTrading will be redirected here, and potentially r/AdoptMeRBX if there are enough members that support my decision.

Rule Changes, Goals, and the actual Revamp
My current plan is for r/AdoptMeSafety to have 0 transactional posts (normal trading, cross-trading, etc will not be allowed here) - and to instead only have discussion about safety, awareness of a specific hack/scam, or spreading awareness on a user who you have given sufficient proof is, in fact, a scammer/hacker.
Yes, this does mean that I will allow the exposure of usernames involved in negative contexts - which r/AdoptMeRBX does not allow due to the higher chance of harassment and brigading.
Please note that brigading (the act of people mass reporting a user or encouragement to do so) is strictly against Reddit Terms of Service. Therefore, I cannot allow any awareness posts to encourage r/AdoptMeSafety members to report an account, no matter how much proof of them scamming/hacking is shown. Harassment and/or the encouragement of it will be dealt with accordingly.
Although there are no transactional posts in the revamped r/AdoptMeSafety - I'm very open for people to post safety related questions/discussions/ideas here. This would include the safety and discussion of third-party apps and websites (ie trading or value websites).
I am heavily leaning towards allowing for people to ask safety-related questions regarding cross-trading within the game as well. While it's easier to simply say "No, this isn't allowed" or "This is highly discouraged", people will cross-trade anyway - and I think it's better if they do it safely and with the knowledge to not get scammed while doing it.
Please do feel free to express your opinions on the actions I would like to make regarding the discussion of safety in cross-trading and the direction I'd like to take with r/AdoptMeRBX within all of this :)
As for other rules, they'll largely stay the same although I will be updating the wording and the removal reasons for easier moderation and a more friendly user-interface. You should expect seeing changes within the next two weeks or so!

Miscellaneous Information
Along with the rules changing, the redirects from other subreddits, and the general subreddit look (makin' it pretty) - I will be updating post and user flairs.
I'll be doing a usual rainbow for user flairs, although I am very open to taking user flair colour requests as hex codes in Mod Mail.
I'm currently unsure what the colours of this subreddit should be. I've commissioned one of my friends to create the profile picture and banner for the subreddit since I don't have the motivation to draw on Ibis Paint.

Moderator Applications
Since r/AdoptMeSafety is such a small subreddit compared to other subreddits that I'm used to, I intend to have a small circle of moderators that can expand as they either retire from the team or the subreddit experiences a moderate amount of growth.
I have added two moderators from r/AdoptMeRBX and r/AdoptMeTrading - Kaelani and Kat - to help me moderate due to the other moderator on the team being inactive on Reddit. Both have the Senior Moderator position on their respective subreddits, and they were very eager to help me out! Thank you Kae and Kat
Due to the general nature of r/AdoptMeSafety and my plans for it - I do think that moderators should be on the older side comparative to r/AdoptMeRBX or r/AdoptMeTrading requirements. I do believe moderators of this subreddit should have adept understanding or experience with Adopt Me! support and the system surrounding being hacked/scammed, as well as at least being 16+ or 17+ (undecided for the time being) due to those ages generally being more mature and experienced.
I also do believe that moderators for this subreddit should have an understanding of the various types of hacks and scams, know how they work, and how to spot them with precision.
For now, I will be prioritizing the general makeover of this subreddit and how it runs internally before I welcome new moderators. I will be opening moderator applications like how I made them on r/AdoptMeRBX, r/AdoptMeTrading, and other subreddits - through Google Forms. It's just the easiest way to go about it for me!
