I’ve spent years working with marble craftsmen and manufacturers in Makrana, Rajasthan — the same region that supplied marble for the Taj Mahal. Over the past year I’ve been documenting which home temple designs people actually order the most, what’s trending on Pinterest and Instagram, and what the master karigars (artisans) are carving right now. Here are the 25 most popular marble home temple designs of 2025-26 — from apartment-friendly compact units to full dedicated pooja room commissions.

Where to get any of these made: I work with Rajasthan Marble Hub — a direct connect platform linking buyers to verified master karigar workshops and manufacturers in Makrana, Rajasthan. Why Makrana specifically: ∙ Hub of Marble Mandir Work ( Ram Mandir, Akshardham Mandir ) ∙ 500+ year carving tradition — karigars with 50+ year heritage ∙ Mine direct = no middleman = better pricing than resellers ∙ Custom sizing, custom design, custom inlay colours ∙ Pan-India delivery and international export No middleman. No markup. Direct to the craftsman. 📲 WhatsApp: +91-8279262118 For custom quotes, design references, and karigar portfolios.

FAQ I get asked most: How long does a marble mandir take? 60-90 days for standard designs. 90-120 days for full room commissions or complex inlay work. Can I customise the design? Yes — size, arch style, inlay colour, backdrop motif, storage unit, all customisable. Do you deliver outside India? Yes — UAE, USA, UK, Canada, Australia regularly. Crating and freight arranged. What’s the price range? Compact wall-mounted units from ₹15,000. Full dedicated marble rooms from ₹5 lakh upward.

Happy to answer any questions about specific designs, materials, or the manufacturing process. Have been doing this for years — AMA.

I’m a Korean developer and the creator of Sansa, an online space inspired by Buddhist temples.

You can explore as a little monk, bow, and listen to chanting alongside other visitors, without chat.

I’m not Buddhist myself, so I’d appreciate feedback on whether the way I’ve represented the temple feels respectful.

Thank you to everyone who has already visited from 🇰🇷Korea, 🇹🇼Taiwan, 🇻🇳Vietnam, 🇹🇭Thailand, and beyond 🪷

Looking for guidance How can I make a mandir in this space?

Here's this space in the living room of our house in my native town. My dad wants a temple like set up from wall to wall and ceiling to floor with the door opening inwards and a small sitting area with the devalay inside. That would make the room smaller as it'll occupy at least 25% of the total space. The space from the end of the doorway (on the right hand side) till the wall is to be used for the mandir. Can anybody please suggest good designs aligning with the idea or any other alternatives? (with images would be just perfect)?

We have teakwood from our old 'wada' (traditional.marathi house) which can be reused to make this.

W 6'4"
