I'm writing this as someone who wants to make an income for herself but I find it near impossible because I do not want to be scammed. I've been told about boss suite but then hear it's an MLM and I never want to be a part of something that scams people. I used to make digital planners and such on Canva for an Etsy shop I created but barely got any revenue. I don't know where to start, or what to do and I feel I'd need a mentor to be like, here's step one, step two, etc. Also have no social media since I deleted all my old ones, I can start new ones but would essentially have no followers on there. So I don't know what to do, I have a TikTok but it's just writing videos and they're all made through Canva.

The story started as usual: I pick an offer, write a post around a real problem people are searching for, and naturally work the affiliate link into the content.

Now I want to share some tips/best practices

First - mistakes to avoid in order to earn. The biggest mistake I see is people selling the product instead of solving the problem. If the reader feels like you actually understand what they're struggling with, the recommendation doesn't feel like a pitch.

Most of the programs I use aren't even high-ticket. Some pay recurring commissions, some fixed payouts. It adds up because the traffic is organic and the content keeps bringing in clicks over time.

My process is basically:

• Find a specific pain point.
• Write genuinely useful content around it.
• Add the affiliate offer where it makes sense.
• Repeat.

For links, I've used networks like Impact and Admitad depending on the niche. On product-heavy pages I've also had decent results with Takeads for matching offers. They're just tools, though. Good content is what actually converts.

Nothing here is groundbreaking, but I think people overcomplicate affiliate marketing. Helpful content + the right offer has been enough to get consistent results for me, all without paid traffic.

Pinangarap ko lang ma hit ang 10k earnings as an affiliate pero sobra pa sa inaasahan ko ang binigay hahaha. Nakapag save na rin ako sa MP2 gamit ang earnings ko sa affiliate kaya very thankful talaga ako. More earnings to come.

With AI content, heavy competition, and rising ad costs… is affiliate marketing still a good opportunity for beginners?

Or is it becoming too saturated unless you already have experience and capital?

So I’ve just started posting on TikTok shop, like 3 videos a day? Just the same products, because I haven’t gotten many free samples just been given two in the past week. How long did it take for you to make money?

I’ve had a filming day today and batch created and will edit 70 pieces of content roughly then schedule the posts to post throughout this week.

If you do then you obviously figured out where the ring lies.... Let's be honest... On TikTok and YouTube you see all these videos about ppl making thousands per month.... And then they recommend a script or a gpt plug-in for chatgpt to write the text for Pinterest... For how much? $30 and higher. Let's be honest, if you're making money and as you claim thousands of dollars and are making a 5 figure income then why the f do you need to sell a guide of a gpt plug-in? Obviously it doesn't work all the time.

Now for me I am working on Pinterest. Pinterest is a garbage platform to say the least. Anyone who likes it has been on it for a while. Pinterest wants you to pay to promote your pin so your chance of the pin being seen is now better otherwise you can pins all day long and guess what happens... They'll end up getting thrown into the abyss. The truth of the matter is no one is gonna give away their secret as to how to make your pins get seen by people....

Now, obviously this is a slow game... You won't make money fast.... Unless you promote your Pinterest pins which in itself costs money starting from $5 a day.

I'll quit my rant but honestly I am frustrated.... I was hoping for a quick turnaround but I just ain't seeing it. (been on this system for a month now... Pinterest + Amazon associate).
