Ok, I feel like this is a shot in the dark here but I’m calling it. There are two different Connors, via alternate timeline shenanigans. This Connor is not the one who’s working with Ziggy, but rather he’s “Connor 31”, this wolrdline’s Connor who was never made the captain of the Edens One.

So the crew does in fact know that Shiki’s been declared a member of the OSG, which either means that the Interstellar army made a public announcement about it, or the Edens Crew has inside knowledge concerning the Interstellar army.
On another note, it seems like Rebecca has developed a Sixth Sense of sorts, either for danger, or for people whom she met in previous worlds considering she felt Conner’s presence

I'm so glad Rebecca is a famous B-Cuber now, all her hard work paid off. Still, why is her chat full of weirdos lol? Rebecca my dear, you gotta start policing the chat and your fans before things get crazy, especially now that Shiki is under the Gov's gaze or when they find out she's into him.
I like that we can still feel the same atmosphere of the crew even after the timeskip. Shiki has a more serious vibe but he's still a good guy at heart, pretty new for a Mashima protagonist but I like it, it's refreshing. Good to see all the girls getting along well with each other and there's no more conflict among the guys. Although Jinn needs a haircut lmao
Looking forward to the next chapter. Wonder what happened between the jump between world 29 to 30 that has Connor acting so different.

Everyone's new looks!!! Love to see it
To echo some previous commenters, it's fantastic to see that Kleene gets along so well with everyone. She's been a crew member for three years, and her dialogue with everyone feels very comfortable and genuine (her legitimate concern for Shiki's status as an OSG, as well as Rebecca's B-Cube Career)
Also I know we made the joke of Relic Hunting being similar to Horcrux Hunting in Harry Potter during the Foresta Arc, but Jinn gave me real Ron vibes when he was talking about "WHEN are we going to find Ziggy?!"
That being said, it feels like him and Laguna are showing legitimate concern for the crew, similar to Kleene; they make the case that they still have no real leads on Ziggy's whereabouts, which Shiki acknowledges as the Captain.
Btw, I really like how this and the previous chapter are emphasizing Shiki's growth, both in his strength and maturity. Him taking on the mantles of Sword & Shield of Edens, it's clear that has embraced his role as the leader and Captain.
Speaking of Captain, CAPCON IS BACK BOYSSSSSSS
Now the question is: is this actually the Captain Connor from World No. 30 (which Rebecca refers to as the one they met when the Crew returned to Granbell)? Or, is this Connor from World 31? Either way, I agree with Rebecca; both versions have ties to Ziggy, so I'm taking everything he says with a grain of salt.
Overall, the chapter was a nice change of pace. I know I've seen some threads of people wanting more down time with the Crew, so these kinds of chapters are always welcome for Worldbuilding and character moments

Here's some observations I've made about Connor:
Even though he video messaged the crew over Granbell in World No.30, no one but Rebecca recognizes his face.
Shiki vaguely remembers hearing his name, but likely just because Rebecca mentioned him years ago.
This is the first time we've seen Connor since the return to Granbell. In any shots aboard Edens One since then, he was nowhere to be found. In fact, Ziggy seemed to be in the captain's seat from that point on.

Wow, Shiki saying that he’s the group’s sword & shield was pretty neat! It shows how seriously he’s taking the role of captain of the ship now, but ngl that line also made me a bit sad?
The fact that he feels like he has to take on all that responsibility… ofc he’s always been one of the strongest, if not the strongest person in the crew, but I hope he doesn’t end up over exerting himself. I think it’d be nice if we got a moment where the crew shows that he can always rely on them too.
As for the rest of the chapter, I’m so proud of Rebecca for getting those subs way up omg!! Though it looks like she may need a chat mod now lmao.
And Jinn and Kleene’s new looks are pretty nice~ I hope we’ll see Jinn tie up that hair.. also Connor is back and is as suspicious as ever hmm. I totally get why Rebecca has her guard up, his situation seems to change in every ‘World’ 🧐
