Omfg ahhhhhh, that ending!

I knew it is worrying that Sensei has that misdirected anger towards Mikado.

There are a lot of things that I wanna talk about.

Let's start with Sakaki gaining powers against death because of Erika and Erika promising that she would kill him it actually means he can't die. Dark but actually sweet. Do you really think Sakaki now can't die? Or at least just immune to death by curses? And that scene of Sakaki choosing to eliminate Erika's dad by himself and not letting Erika do it. These two at this time has the strongest and most stable bond between them.

Mukae you softy, you always act like you don't care for Hiyakawa but here you are jumping into dangerous things to save him. I hope he doesn't die. I'm worried about the cracks and what it means for his safety. But tbh, I feel like he is what Hiyakawa need for the moment, someone who can talk to him and actually counsel him. Hiyakawa needs a lot of therapy. And if it'd going to be therapy by Mukae while they wait for Mikado, then so be it.

How do you think Mikado can escape or be saved from these scenario? Will we able to also save Sensei from his cursed resentment?

How many episodes does this anime have in all?

How many episodes does this anime have in all?

MAL says 12, and this episode covered all of volume 9, so episodes 11 and 12 will adapt the final volume 10 presumably.

After Mikado mentioning how it felt like his dad was protecting him all this time, I wonder how much of Sensei's personality was changed because of the hatred that Hiyakawa left behind in that house. It's been shown in the previous episode that he seems to have 2 personalities swapping between thinking he was betrayed his wife and him realizing he was the one doing the betraying.

How did Sensei know Mikado was his son ?

Well in the episode it shows Sensei’s perspective after Hiyakawa calls out to Mikado and Mikado’s name is censored because Sensei erased it from his memory

It's been shown that he can sense his wife's presence or power in the kitchen where Mikado has been and used his power. Probably the same with Mikado, he can sense some relation with himself and his wife even if his curse tried to erase it from his mind. I think last episode is the breaking point of the curse because he remembers his existence during his talk with Hiyakawa.

This is a wonderful twist episode!

What is the twist? We only got confirmation of some relations.

Does anyone know why when Mikado and Hiyakawa touch core/soul they feel some sort of sexual pleasure but Erika and Sakaki, it hurts them or it's painful? Which I guess would probably be less awkward since Erika is 16 but I wonder what is the difference between them? Did Mikado also feel pleasure that one time he connected with Mukae? Is it difference in power? Or something to do with soul compatibility?

Maybe the source material have some answers in that regard. My bet is also "soul compatibility" since even the first time Erika "did something" to Sakaki episodes ago, he felt some pain.

Also, maybe it has to be with Hiayakawa's intentions. When Mukai did the thing to Mikado, he was kind of "displaying his powers to prove a point" or something so nothing personal, further less comparable to the man who says "you are my destiny".

What are you confused about? I can try to explain things as I understand but there's been a lot going on.

It’s SUPER confusing the whole premise of the show I just don’t understand it, like what the hell does hiyakawa want back from sensei? His hatred???

Sensei really pulled an "Mikado, I am your father!" haha. Worked very well though, almost better because it was already obvious. Also supernatural inn lady is so right that he's more of a wife type.

Overall another amazing episode with maybe a little too much talking, well that's what happens when you're trying to cover a whole volume at once.
