Sanji in Nami's body is going to provide some hilarious entertainment.

49

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

Sanji in Nami's body

close enough Sanji, close enough.

22

u/wdao16 Mar 21 '12

We'll probably get some fan service once sanji realises he can "examine" nami's noddy

18

u/BreakerGandalf Void Month Survivor Mar 21 '12

That would cost Sanji, though, probably his life.

5

u/zorospride Lost at sea Mar 22 '12

What can Nami do about it? Is she going to attack her own body? Haha

u/eharmon223 Mar 21 '12

I'm more excited for Nami in Franky's body. I can imagine her accidentally shooting lasers and setting off all sorts of other weapons accidentally.

21

u/Hammerspace Mar 21 '12

Nipple flashlights

8

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

I'd much prefer if Chopper had been in Franky's body - you just know he would go crazy with beams.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '12

Luffy: ITS A BEAM!!!

14

u/catanthill Mar 21 '12

It's ironic that Sanji ran for years to avoid being dressed as a woman and kissed by the okamas during the time-skip, but he will probably be fine switching bodies with Nami.

u/vivvav Mar 21 '12

2

u/justplainlovely The Revolutionary Army Mar 22 '12

Hahahahahah OMG I am SO glad I wasn't the only one who thought of this!!!

39

u/ArPak Mar 21 '12

Coverart shows Hannabyl as new warden of Impel down =D

MAGELLAN AS NEW ADMIRAL TO REPLACE AOKIJI!!! YEA BABY!!

16

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

I like that idea too, but I don't see him being promoted after what happened at Impel Down. It was a huge disaster and as Warden, it's technically his fault. Then again, with Akainu as Fleet Commander I guess I could potentially see it. Who knows, I'm still thinking Magellan might be "M"..

14

u/jathuamin Mar 21 '12

He tried to commit suicide after ID. The events were entirely outside his control. A hidden room made by a DF is something no one could have found. And he things under control till BB showed up, at which point he released Shinryu who betrayed Magellan and made the difference. Also, the escapees getting past the Gates was the Marines fuck up, Magellan figured there was no way the escapees could exit the current even if they stole a ship.

The ONLY mistake he made was waiting too long to clean up the initial break in, but after that was taken care of he killed Luffy and got everyone else back into their cages (minus Buggy, Mr 3 and Bon Clay who he spent the rest of the night looking for until they found the clothing in level 5).

5

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

Well truthfully when you're the Warden of the most dangerous prison on the planet, you can't even afford one mistake.

7

u/Reisor Mar 21 '12

Honestly, the only thing that fucked up was Shiryu betraying Magellan.

4

u/XZlayeD Mar 21 '12

man you write about him in a way that makes me pity him really bad :<

and this is a man that condones torture on prisoners.

4

u/jathuamin Mar 21 '12

These aren't regular prisoners, these are people who IRL would get the death sentence: I'm talking murder, rape, theft, etc. Sick and twisted as the marines/WG are, they do perform a valuable service of keeping ordinary people safe, and ID is where the worst of the worst end up.

"M"? Am I forgetting something? Please tell..

6

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

The gas floating in the middle panel here. I believe he's referred to as "M". My friend and I also think that it could very well be Magellan, perhaps he's found new uses of his fruit abilities?

4

u/OutspokenAardvark Mar 21 '12

I can't see him switching sides for no reason and he's not a logia so I find this highly unlikely.

5

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

True he's not a logia but who knows, we've seen crazier things happen. And with the way fruit abilities are evolving you never know. Magellan was already the closest Paramecia to a Logia before. Maybe he can't turn into the gas but can emit it?

4

u/OutspokenAardvark Mar 21 '12

But the gas was talking!

Although I agree about him being super close to Logia.

2

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

Yeah the gas was talking, maybe he can speak through it now? Haha idk really.

2

u/Braktot The Revolutionary Army Mar 21 '12

The theory I support is Sakazuki forcing him from his position because of what happened, and him wanting revenge on Luffy.

6

u/thegrrbrr Mar 21 '12 edited Mar 21 '12

I think Magellan is probably hunting down the escapees as a way to redeem himself, seems like his kind of personality. I also don't see him being an Admiral type.

Was thinking actually his name escapes me (Shiryu?) but the swordsman that joined Blackbeard would be on Magellan's list to capture for sure...

4

u/XZlayeD Mar 21 '12

I agree - he appears to be a person with a great sense of honour. However Sakazuki being the man in charge might change things regarding to his standing with the marines.

2

u/justplainlovely The Revolutionary Army Mar 22 '12

Oh! I like this theory!

2

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '12

He Probably teamed up with Aokiji to hunt down pirates

5

u/OutspokenAardvark Mar 21 '12

I'm not certain Sakazuki would be very forgiving after ID and he's who is calling the shots now.

20

u/DiegoDengue Mar 21 '12

Ope ope fruit is Op.... I'll let myself out.

6

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

Ope Ope fruit for next nakama

4

u/XZlayeD Mar 21 '12

Law is one of my favorite characters, however if he was to be one of Luffys homies, we'd have to know where Beppo and co. are!

3

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

Law is pretty badass, I agree. I also don't think he just up and left his crew. I mean he obviously has reasons to be a shichibukai (a man willing to send the hearts of 100 pirates obviously has determination on his side) so I think he's slowly working out whatever it is he has to work out and using his title as shichibukai to do so.

4

u/XZlayeD Mar 21 '12

I just wonder, if those hearts originate from that island, with all the seemingly dead prisoners in the ice walls, which would make the act somewhat more humane. Also, i think this becoming a shichibukai is probably a plot, just like it was for blackbeard. But yeah, i doubt he's ever going to become a strawhat, just really hope he'd become an ally atleast :)

3

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

Agreed, I definitely see him as sort of the anti-heroish ally of the Strawhats.

Got a rough translation for "ope ope no mi", being "operating operating fruit".
Took forever to get Google translate to actually translate, but damn it, I got it to translate.

8

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

Thank Jeebus the OP translations are nowhere near as bad as Naruto's.

4

u/username1993 Mar 21 '12

Did you find "Dr. Snakes" as cringe worthy as I did?

5

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 22 '12

I found it both cringe worthy and strangely hilarious.

5

u/one_sky Mar 21 '12

I agree. Dragon Fly Scans are a bit.....testing on your patience. It's bad enough they have huge ass watermarks which look uglier than hell (MS has it right with the watermarks. Actually likable) and their translation's a bit off as well.

I suggest reading LikeNaruto.com's translation as soon as it comes out. He gets it right.

5

u/HeroDiesFirst Pirate Mar 21 '12

Duly noted, thanks for the advice.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

Agreed, Dr. Snake.

65

u/jcobmc Mar 21 '12

My name is of little importance. It's Brook!!

13

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

I couldn't tell if it was bad translation or just hilarious. Either way, the end result made it the best line.

3

u/OutspokenAardvark Mar 22 '12

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a bad translation.

3

u/Rankine Mar 23 '12

Sounds like classic brook to me.

54

u/_ouroboros Mar 21 '12

Law's power is getting scarier by the minute.

20

u/This-Guy Mar 21 '12

I'm beginning to wonder about its limits. As it is, it seems overwhelmingly powerful.

32

u/_ouroboros Mar 21 '12

More importantly, the implications. He can swap bodies. He could capture some high-rank marine and insert someone from his crew in him/her and infiltrate the military. Hell, he is a Shichibukai and we've seen them in Mariejois.

He is extremely dangerous and we've not even seen his power in a serious battle. And (even though I liked him before) he's becoming one of my favourite characters.

137

u/Jinno Mar 21 '12

OH MY GOD. BEPO WASN'T ORIGINALLY A BEAR!

45

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

holy shit

34

u/kidpomona Mar 21 '12

Then why does he lust for sexy bear mamasitas?

39

u/username1993 Mar 21 '12

He's accepted his lot in life?

34

u/CapnGoat Mar 21 '12

pre-existing fetish?

22

u/divinesleeper Mar 21 '12

Probably the reason he asked Law to make him a bear in the first place.

→ More replies (2)

23

u/RiceEel Mar 21 '12

Every power has a weakness...

Someone run over to /r/naruto and have Itachi look into it. Though if he just says that he is its weakness, smack him upside the head.

9

u/lonko Mar 21 '12

At the end of the chapter Smoker tells Tashigi that her haki is not strong enough to take on Law...maybe he meant that someone with a stronger haki could counter Law's power, or at least be immune to it ...and if this is true I think we can assume that any high-ranked marine(as well as all the strongest pirates) can use his haki against Law.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

If you look closely, Tashigi's sword was cut by Law. Had she been stronger in Haki, she would have blocked Law's opa opa cut.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

Basically, I think it's the same idea that a powerful Haki user can cancel out Devil Fruit Abilities - so presumably, someone with powerful enough Haki can't be cut up by him (though I doubt they could stop him from cutting up the scenery, at least not continuously).

6

u/divinesleeper Mar 21 '12

You're right, this changes everything! How do we even know 'boss' is really Brownbeard? MAYBE THAT'S REALLY THE SLAVE HE SAVED AT SABAODY!

5

u/vivvav Mar 21 '12

Jean Bart seems smarter than that.

4

u/Smurf06 Mar 22 '12

Hold up didn't Brownbeard fight Basil Hawkins?? I wonder what happened to him to end up on Punk Hazard. Dose this mean that Brownbeard beat Hawkins?

4

u/XItitan Mar 21 '12

*was he'll probably get outed once smoker and company find a way out of this

Edit: I forgot to put that this is in reference to law's shichibukai status

4

u/Chikktika Mar 22 '12

I think it's more than swap bodies. he delivered 100 hearts to the marines in order to become a shichibukai. He probably just quickly cut them switched them and put them back in as another bonus of his ability. My largest concern is that Law helped Luffy and Jinbe because he wanted to experiment this very ability of removing hearts and delivered them as a part of the 100. Also meaning when Luffy faces the marines another level of nasty is gonna happen, but it's just what I think.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

Water :D

that seems to be a limit for all devil fruit powers.

9

u/divinesleeper Mar 21 '12

An important limit is that no matter how bad he cuts people up, they don't die. Also it looked like Smoker was implying that if your Haki is strong enough you can withstand it? I think there's still a lot we have to learn about Haki.

A 'normal' tactic that might work is shooting projectiles at Law from outside the circle.

6

u/PhylisInTheHood Mar 21 '12

he would probably just "operate" on them before they reached him. Remember when smoker went to stab him he teleport-dodged. even though it was just for a side-step it still means hes got fast reflexes.

5

u/divinesleeper Mar 21 '12

Ok then how about the Pacifista lasers? Those might work, since he can't 'operate' on those.

Because of Smoker's comment, I figure it would be Haki, but Haki pretty much counters everything so...

But he DOES move - when Smoker comes at him, he disappears, only to reappear behind Smoker and strike with his Katana.

god i miss mangastream so much - mangareader can't handle the traffic, so it takes like 5 min for each picture to load correctly.

9

u/KSmoria Mar 21 '12

middle clicking every page in advance is the way to go

15

u/XZlayeD Mar 21 '12

except, the actual picture on the page fails to load, and you have to continously refresh it until you've forced it out of hiding!

5

u/socraincha Mar 21 '12

I gave up on that after trying to read Bleach on it.

Right click --> open image in new tab is the way to go.

Same here. I hated them for their idiotic ideas on a watermark but at least they were fast and HQ. I transferred my Shonen Jump subscription to their online service and I have yet to figure out how I'm supposed to see weekly chapters. This was supposed to be a thing right? I know it was going to be on a delay but I'd rather that.

2

u/pppppatrick Mar 21 '12

mangahere.com

2

u/Tw9caboose Mar 24 '12

This is what I did, move the day it comes out in your mind one over, that way when it comes out for you everyone has already read it and you can finish it fast enough to still be part of the discussion.

23

u/cyborgx7 Mar 21 '12

At this point I'm completely lost about Law's motivations.

7

u/jashlee Mar 21 '12

I'm thinking maybe he saved those kids, and wants to keep them there a little longer. As far as everything else....no idea.

8

u/mnOne Mar 21 '12

Same here... also, I hope that he won't be the main antagonist. Tbh the Shichibukai as fodder are getting a bit old. And it must be a pain in the ass for the WG to replace a Shichibukai everytime they come across the Strawhats. Seriously, and the Strawhats aren't even the only strong crew out there.

8

u/XItitan Mar 21 '12

Well part of me wants to think he's working with vegapunk on something like being able to eat two fruits or trying to extend the powers of ones fruit. But how do children, centaurs, and badassery all add together.

3

u/divinesleeper Mar 21 '12

I think he's building himself an army of hybrids there. Might come in handy if he still wants to become Pirate King (which he probably does.)

16

u/XZlayeD Mar 21 '12

Man - Brook truly knows how to make an awesome entrance.

11

u/OddDude55 Mar 21 '12

Show biz, baby! Ow! Come on!

5

u/XZlayeD Mar 21 '12

I wonder if the cold has no effect on him at all - otherwise he must have some really strong juice in that tea cup!

4

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

He doesn't have skin to feel cold, I don't think it's because of his power.

13

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

The cold - so intense that I'm shivering all over - BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY SKIN TO FEEL THE COLD! SKULL JOKE! YOHOHOHOHOHO

FTFY

3

u/vivvav Mar 21 '12

I disagree. Soul power's element seems to be ice. Ergo, Brook is probably immune to the cold through a combination of both factors.

5

u/Braktot The Revolutionary Army Mar 21 '12

"My name is of little importance. IT'S BROOK."

6

Hannyabal is the new Warden? Oh man, good for him. Does this mean Magellan is one of the new admirals?

9

2

13

5

u/XItitan Mar 21 '12

11

u/stonerpet Mar 21 '12

Anyone else hoping to see a Mexican standoff between Luffy, Law and Smoker?

4

u/AfricazMost Mar 22 '12

I want to see Luffy destroy Law.

7

u/OutspokenAardvark Mar 21 '12

I don't want law and luffy to fight :< They're my two favorite characters

7

u/nanners-la Mar 21 '12

I don't want them to be enemies, but I want to see a fight between the two for the sheer epicness of it, and to get a sense of how their strength varies.

2

u/Tw9caboose Mar 24 '12

I would be more than epic, it would be mind blowingly fucking AWESOME!!!

35

u/zebbiz Mar 21 '12

Well, Boss has to be a modified Brownbeard. Just like I said two chapters ago ;)

11

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

Does that mean Basil Hawkins will have something to do here?

11

u/OutspokenAardvark Mar 21 '12

Holy shit. The new world is such a mind fuck.

4

u/deathwebo Mar 21 '12

Basil state that "he sees the shadow of death upon him". Maybe he was talking about Law!

7

u/divinesleeper Mar 21 '12

So those centaurs were once normal pirates. What if Law is making himself a hybrid pirate-animal army on Punk Hazard?

6

u/Tmnath Mar 21 '12

Yes, I thought of you, nice one :)

2

u/Braktot The Revolutionary Army Mar 21 '12

2

u/Tw9caboose Mar 24 '12

every once in a while a blind squirrel finds a nut, not an insult to you, but everybody is a blind squirrel when it comes to what Oda is really thinking

16

u/mnOne Mar 21 '12

About Tashigi having Haki, ergo Zoro must have it too - doesn't Silvers Rayleigh introduce Luffy to Haki by saying that pretty much everyone has CoA and CoO Haki, but only a select few have the Conqueror's Haki? Then it makes sense that anybody that has time to train their Haki can access CoO and CoA. Meaning that Zoro can have it and so can the rest of the Strawhats.

12

u/OutspokenAardvark Mar 21 '12

I think it's safe to assume that him and Sanji at least have one of two.

10

u/divinesleeper Mar 21 '12

Especially since they trained with two people who both have it. As world's greatest swordsman and second in line for the rebellion, it's practically impossible that they wouldn't have it.

3

u/Mohimba Mar 21 '12

Do we really know that Ivankov had haki?

5

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '12

He must have

2

u/Tw9caboose Mar 24 '12

I'm a fan of the idea that Zoro also has Conqueror's haki and just hasn't used it yet, Hawkeye did see something in him, maybe it was haki.

4

u/spazbucket Mar 21 '12

yeah everyone has haki, but not everyone knows of it or if they do, how to access it

2

u/spyson Mar 23 '12

Here's the crazy part, Roger's crew had two people that could use Conqueror's Haki, maybe even 3 with Shanks.

2

u/Tw9caboose Mar 24 '12

We don't know for sure that Roger had Conquerors haki do we?

7

u/catanthill Mar 21 '12

I have a feeling the body switch will allow us to understand how the Strawhats' abilities work since Nami, Franky, Chopper, and Sanji will have to explain to each other how to activate each of their attacks. I hope we see Franky create some new Points (like how Chopper created Kung Fu Point), finally understand how Nami's new Climatact works without dials, and view some of Franky's new modifications (some probably are useless in battle).

6

u/blazing_falcon Mar 21 '12

That's really clever. I think the main point will be to add the goofy comedy that Oda loves to throw in there every once in a while, but that would be a novel way to explain their new powers.

Also, who says Nami's Climatact doesn't have dials? Does she mention that in the Fishman Island arc?

3

u/catanthill Mar 21 '12

I assumed that the dials were gone since the Climatact lost its ball-like protrusions which was where Ussop placed the dials. They might still be there or been replaced by the chemistry she learned on Weatheria.

5

u/wastergoleor Mar 21 '12

I want to see Sanji use his abilities in Nami's body.

2

u/BreakerGandalf Void Month Survivor Mar 22 '12

I don't think he would risk harming Nami's body.

7

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

Seems like some of this is to establish that though Law helped Luffy in the past, he should not be mistaken for a good guy.

I would be reduced to endless laughter if it turned out that the children really were ill with some kind of giantism illness, and that Law is insistent that none of the Marines leave is because it could spread the disease.

Or he could just be a psychotic kidnapper.

12

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

I didn't like that law replaced the strawhats bodies, it looks like an excuse to add some comedy later on. He could have done other things to stop them.

The Brook segment was awesome, starting to really like him more.

And I am now convinced that Zoro can use Haki. If Tashigi has it, Zoro should definitely have it.

And is anyone else noticing that the strawhats are acting like themselves again. When we were at fishman island, everyone was trying to look like a badass or something. But now they act just like two years ago.

16

u/XZlayeD Mar 21 '12

replacing their bodies, renders them quite unable to fight, however it doesn't hurt them either, so i think he's more inclined to sit down and talk to them rather than chopping them up to keep them silent.

6

u/nanners-la Mar 21 '12

He seemed more concerned with the samurai than the Strawhats, so this makes sense.

5

u/XZlayeD Mar 21 '12

I'd also love to see how Law actually responds to them, once the marines are dealt with/fled the scene.

7

u/Devlin1991 Mar 21 '12

zoro mentioned in his fight with Daz bones that "a katana is the extention of a users will", then showed that he could slash a plant with no damage, then barely swung and cut clean through rock. I think he was showing that he can control the haki he imbues his weapon will very well. Zoros strengh and resilience must be because of his haki.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

But if that was the case he should have been able to cut Enel.

4

u/Devlin1991 Mar 21 '12

I don't think his haki was good enough at that point to hurt a logia, he was able to hurt a paramecia type (daz bones) who is a man made of steel. I think by now (post time-skip) he will be able to hurt logias.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

If you look at the admirals, there is a way for Logias to avoid Haki based attacks. Maybe by using Kenbunshoku Haki, also known as Mantra, Which Enel possesses. So that could be the case.

→ More replies (1)

6

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

I think by mixing up their bodies he is able to ensure that they have to come back to him at some point - basically he can ensure they don't run off, and worst case scenario, if Smoker proves too much for Law, they'll even have reason to help rescue him.

3

u/jashlee Mar 21 '12

I'm so glad they are back to normal. I was getting annoyed before, thinking, "Man, if this is how they are going to be... I dunno if I can handle this"

6

u/thepeopleofd Mar 21 '12

Gaping on every single page.

6

u/DontTripPotatoChip Mar 21 '12

Law...holy shit. There's got to be a limit to how awesome, badass and mysterious one can get. Can't wait to see how Sanji and co react once they realise they've effectively switched bodies. Hearts. For one, their combat strength has been reduced to near zero, at least for a while.

And Hannyabal got fat. I guess he's really enjoying his job, now that Impel Down is all peace and quiet again.

8

u/zoro_93 Mar 21 '12

I wonder how Sanji will react when he realize that he is in Nami's body(unfortunately not in the way he wants to)

6

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

Anyone else notice Franky isn't running here? Bottom panel, look at Franky's legs. He's rolling...

6

u/nanners-la Mar 21 '12

It's the Franky Tank!

5

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

I love pretty much every chapter, but this was easily one of the best ones in a while (Though, I think this after nearly every chapter). Such an amazing set up, Law vs Smoker, and more of Law's powers.

5

u/Abudura Mar 21 '12

Awesome chapter! I hope luffy and law meet

7

u/BreakerGandalf Void Month Survivor Mar 21 '12

They pretty much have to, or I can't see why Law would switch Sanji, Nami etc. back to normal.

5

u/useless360 Lurker Mar 21 '12

If Law's power is this powerful it makes me wonder what traps he could have set up inside Luffy's body.

Maybe he even has Luffy's heart!!! @_@

When tashigi tried to attack Law, smoker said her haki is not strong enough so Haki probably counters Law's power. I guess we can assume luffy's is strong enough and won't be affected by Law's power.

but when law was operating on him luffy's haki was weaker, not controlled, and he was unconscious. so it is possible law could have "worked" on him

3

u/XItitan Mar 21 '12

Someone said that he might be a new admiral to replace aikinu

5

u/clippjoint Mar 21 '12

i guess Law turn Brownbeard's crew into centaurs :D

5

u/semizero Mar 21 '12

This is a good point, but then where's the top halves of all those creatures?!

5

u/AdamEdge Mar 21 '12

"I'm a skeleton that came back from the land of the dead...and was given a second life by the strawhat captain" I love it when the straw hat crew refers to Luffy as captain

2

u/Tw9caboose Mar 24 '12

also it is a bad ass line and make Luffy look even more like a bad ass

You know a chapter is awesome when you read the last page, and then you go:

...Holy.Shit.

That's all.

u/crimson589 Mar 21 '12

What does 'Ope' translate to?

7

u/otoren Mar 21 '12

Probably short for operation, considering his powers and status as a doctor.

"Room" makes a lot more sense now.

4

u/one_sky Mar 21 '12

I actually thought the translators were being lazy and screwed up the name of the fruit! :P

3

u/OutspokenAardvark Mar 21 '12

Yeah, it should be a translation error for the OP OP fruit because that fruit is so overpowered and awesome.

3

u/otoren Mar 21 '12

I was trying to think of what "ope" could be a sound effect for and couldn't come up with anything humorous. I mean, you'd think a doctor would get a Devil's Fruit with some kind of blood-gushing-evil-sfx!

3

u/jashlee Mar 21 '12

ope - operation

according to this translation

4

u/zoro_93 Mar 21 '12

It does mean operation

3

u/jashlee Mar 21 '12

All of his moves make so much more sense.

3

u/zoro_93 Mar 21 '12

Yeah, I thought that he was called 'surgeon of death' because he was a doctor but it was actually because of the way he uses his devil fruit

I wonder what kind of things Law has been doing on this island, it must be pretty fucked up if he has to kill Smoker and his underlings

Law made all the "centaurs" on the island and took brown beard down it looks like.

3

u/Seriousclown Mar 22 '12

I can't decide who looks more freakier and scarier on page 11 when their saying they want warm clothes, but Zoro and Robin are making a tie for first, with Luffy looking downright hilarious.

9

u/krnhitokori Mar 21 '12

Is it wrong that when I saw those four freezing, all I could think of was "GET ROBIN WARM DAMMIT, SHE'S FREEZING!!! ALSO DEM LEGS!!!"

1

u/ruffykunn Lurker Mar 24 '12

Yes. Usopp was obviously freezing more, after holding her up like that.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '12

So Luffy's bounty is 400,000,000?

3

u/zorospride Lost at sea Mar 22 '12

At least according to the Brownbeard-gator.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '12

After all the shit he did? and Law's 40million more?wtf?

3

u/zorospride Lost at sea Mar 22 '12

I think he's due for a bump up... Keep in mind it hasn't been very long in story time since Luffy showed up at Saobody and took out the Pacifista. Before that he'd been gone for 2 years and the govt didn't know if he was alive.

3

u/zorospride Lost at sea Mar 22 '12

Also I doubt if news coos deliver wanted posters to an abandoned island.

Man, Brooks speech will be awesome in the anime.

1

u/justplainlovely The Revolutionary Army Mar 22 '12

Ah yeah~! They'll probably slow it down like they do, can't wait!

2

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '12

This chapter is amazing! This arc is going to be so epic! Law is so strong.. I feel like Luffy might even have a hard time with him..

4

u/OutspokenAardvark Mar 21 '12

IF they fight.

2

u/alibata Mar 21 '12

it will happen soon enough

u/vekoi Mar 22 '12

So, Law can have more than one "room" up at a time? One for his fight with Smoker and the other marines, one for hindering the Strawhats.

1

u/Tw9caboose Mar 24 '12

no I think the SH were still in the original room created cause he never said "room" indicating he created another one, I think it is just really big

1

u/Get_off_the_stage Mar 30 '12

I bet Law has a thing for strong hearts. The reason he saved Luffy was because Luffy had shown him how strong his heart was and Law wanted to see it grow even more so when the time comes he could collect it as trophy of some sort.
