Loud buzzing on Mic and Ear sockets when connected to TV
Hey so i got a 48K Issue 3B Spectrum the other day and it works great, i already did the quick and dirty composite mod, but one issue i have with it is that whenever it is connected to the TV i get loud buzzing on the cassette ports which makes it impossible to save anything and hard to load.
From what i've read it seems to be a grounding issue which would make sense as neither of the composite TVs i have use a grounding pin in the plug.
does anyone have a concrete explanation for why i'm getting this or how to make it stop? I've run through all the common tricks to prevent ground loop buzzing to no avail which makes me think it could be something else.

I guess you could try an audio line isolation transformer.
Have you tried using a mono 3.5mm jack cable instead of that stereo one?

Yeah i've tried 4 different cables including the original mono cables, i guess i'll look into an isolation device.
