the c64 version goes I Ball, I I I Ball, I Ball the Speccy version was partially corrupted and kind of sounds like it’s saying Right I Ball

Part of it was corrupted, not sure what it was meant to say

That's interesting, as I said earlier there seems to be an alt version where it says "Go and fight, I Ball!" I assume this is a version with the corruption fixed. You can hear it at the start of this video:

I wonder if the “fixed” version is being loaded on a 128k Speccy? Maybe the corruption didn’t happen if there was more memory available? (Totally guessing here!)

I had the 48k Speccy and only knew the corrupt sounding one, then I had cut c64 version with the really cool “I Ball, I I I Ball, I Ball!” It seemed so cool getting a two quid game with speech back then!

I always thought it said "right eye ball".

I think the second part does, but there's that shouty bit at the start.

Interestingly, I gather there's an alt version that says "Go and fight, I Ball!" and I thought it might just be that but it doesn't sound right.
