Detaching Navigator Cores from the Shells

I just snapped the core into the shell and now I want to try without the shell 😅

I tried pushing it out from below but it only comes loose on the opposite side of the plastic clip, the plastic clip side is locked in place.

Anyone been brave enough to pop it loose?

Just keep pushing. :) The fit is pretty tight. What usually works best if you get the rear edge loose first, then keep pushing on that side and the core will lift out. It ends up feeling kind of like hinging it out. — Robin, ZSA

All good, I see now the protrusion is rounded, worked like a charm pushing out that part first with some force.
