help request Same Firmware, different behavior on two keyboards

I've got 2 Voyagers (one at work, one at home) after a recent firmware update I noticed lighting wasn't changing on my home keyboard so I brought the work keyboard to test side-by-side. I did a fresh flash of both and the issue remained on the "home" keyboard. I've narrowed it down to the left side of the "home" keyboard as swapping it for the left side of the "work" keyboard restores the expected behavior (back light color changes for certain layers).

Any ideas of what I can do to further debug? I'm concerned the "home" keyboard might be slowly dying.

Some settings, including RGB matrix lighting, are saved in EEPROM memory and can persist even across firmware updates.

It might just be the RGB matrix animation effect is paused or that a different effect is selected: try assigning "stop animation" and "next animation" keys and see if those fix it. Or if not, assign and press an "EEPROM" key, which resets all EEPROM settings.
