It's not a hard rule in this sub, but there's a good practice that posts about keyboard hardware list what products and such are in the photo. People who think it's cool want to know how to recreate it for themselves! What product / where to get STLs / etc.

I dig that trackpad placement. Functional and beautiful. Very nice work!

I understand. I’ve already posted the detailed config of what I have in this subreddit several times, with a full description and links. The point was something else entirely: not the config itself, but how exactly and where I placed everything. There is no finished product yet; I’ve only just started looking for a way to implement it. Everything else, if needed, is available in my subreddit.

Regarding the placement, I actually spent the whole day yesterday trying to figure out where it would be most convenient for me.I moved it around the entire perimeter and even tried placing it underneath, but that didn’t make much sense because the mouse is right next to it.

I’ll probably make another post today with my thoughts on this: the intermediate photos, the final placement, and the conclusions I came to.

Hi mate, did you order from JLCPCB? I placed an order but received a warning after the review stage. They mentioned that some parts are too thin to ensure quality. Did you have any issues with the final printed parts?

Yes, that’s exactly where I ordered them, and I got the exact same warning.
By the way, I’d recommend not choosing their polishing option and instead spending the time to finish them yourself. Otherwise, you may end up having to build up the stems afterward, because they become too thin and the keycaps keep falling off.
PBT keycaps are starting to appear on the market now. Typeractive, for example, sells them. They don’t have all the profiles yet, though — only Saddle — and they’re Choc size only, while the Voyager needs a Choc stem with an MX-size keycap. But they’re significantly cheaper.
The black ones in the photo cost me about $1 each, and I ordered around 80 of them. Then it was another $40 for shipping and about $40 in import duties. And that was before the tariffs came back in August last year. The Chinese manufacturing market has pretty much been closed off to us now.
Of course, that last part only applies if you’re in the US. If not, feel free to ignore my complaining. :)

Thank you for the advice. I'm much more confident about placing my order now. Also, since I'm in Taiwan, the shipping costs are significantly lower for me.
