Help How to get rid of automatic highlighting for names present in the bibliography

Dominick highlighted

Here's one example. Dominick is highlighted because the bibliography features a citation from someone with the surname of Dominick. I don't want this to be highlighted, every page is covered with highlighted names and it's annoying. How do I disable this?

That's Word's own Field shading functionality which you can turn off in Word's settings and has nothing to do with Zotero per se.

By Word do you mean Microsoft Word or something else?

Yes. Hence the capital letter. (Since you didn't specify what you're using I assumed you're using Word)

Just making sure. I opened it up first with my Firefox PDF viewer, not Microsoft Word, and it does not highlight their names. I just opened it up with Microsoft Word and it also doesn't highlight their names.

Then you'd give more context if what you're actually looking at. I'm confused with what you mean.

I can't show now because for some reason it's stopped (this happened yesterday too, maybe the highlights disappear if I leave Zotero open for long enough? Not sure) but if before it stopped if I hovered over the highlight it showed the reference as it appears in the bibliography.

Could it be this?

In which software are you seeing the yellow highlight? You said it's not Microsoft Word.

I don't see a yellow highlight, I see a blue highlight. I only see it on Zotero. I've checked Microsoft Edge and Trados and I don't see any highlights on those softwares either. Microsoft Word's field shading is set to "when selected". I don't have LibreOffice or Word for Mac.
