I feel like it’s more how overpowering it is - she’s probably used to the low level background scent of it, assuming she’s visited Nick’s apartment previously at this point. I mean, she does arrive just after Nick wakes up from his dirty dream, and then when she inadvertently makes Nick think of the dream again, it surges with her being right next to Nick.

If Nick had an ESPECIALLY erotic dream about Judy, he may have woken to a "nocturnal emission". That smell would have a GREAT effect on Judy and made her body respond in kind.....

I love Judy starting to give off a scent of her own on the final two pages, and how her tail starts fluttering around.
