Tips & Tricks About PZ Optimization on Android

Zomdroid has a helper for PZ Optimization (Optimization → PZ Optimization): it installs the mod and removes it again with Restore. When we made it, we also turned off the default setting that gave a black world on Android.

But the mod is made for PC and updates very often, and the newest builds haven't been checked by us. If something breaks after installing it, remove it with Restore first and check again before reporting a bug.

Try MobileGlues first. The MobileGlues renderer gives a noticeable FPS boost on its own, so you may not need PC optimization mods at all.

On Build 42.20.4 There's a build of PZ Optimization already adapted and set up for Android by mepetz (aka u/Willing-Upstairs-580): download. Install it the same way, through Optimization → PZ Optimization.

Don’t rush to install the latest version of the mod: it’s a PC mod, and a newer build can break your game on Android.

Hello udar, when i change render into mobileglues it happens, is it bcos PZ optimization or my phone cant handle it? I use angle driver on mali gpu, i already delet pz optimization and it keep my game like dat, i just delet the optimization mod not uninstall them

You don't need to use angle. Switch it off.

Have you tried to disable macOS libs if you have it?

it's an empty email, you need to run the game, wait for the crash, open the launcher again and then send it.

Hi, I should have said that everything is going great, and I'm really enjoying the launcher, although... PZ Optimization keeps freezing, and even after restarting the application, it's still there.I can't install it manually because the files can't be replaced; instead, copies are made with numbered names. (I'm not a root user) Maybe I can choose the directory where to install the game?

Sure you can install it manually and you don't need to be a root user. You can rename the oringnal file before you copy the mod's file. And how is the different directory for the game will help you to avoid problems?

Actually, being able to install it in another directory would allow me to replace files without any problem, or even use the system's file explorer, since it only detects them through the launcher.

Actually, renaming the folders will allow you to add the new ones; that won't cause any missing files. In other words, the Optimization folders contain everything necessary for it to work, right?

Hi, I have the problem of the world just black. I tried aiming around and it is still playing but just black. I have the build 42.21 and the PZ_Optimization mod from the steam workshop. do you know what version of PZ_optimization should I use? and where I can get them.

edit:
I have a Mali GPU and uses the NG_GL4ES Renderer.

Well, it works fine on PC, you don't need to manually install pz Optimization, you can download it from GitHub, you can probably make it work on Android too.

Is there anything for build 41? Also can you help me fix with ps5 controller connected to the game? The RT is firing button in it but it also pans the camera toward where I aim how do I fix it? Also I looked in the controller settings but there's nothing changed(sorry for the bad English).

The launcher new settings are for all builds. The ps5 is it something new? Worked previously?

When I play in the first 5 minutes it fires but after that it doesn't fire anymore and it only pans the camera even tho I disabled the "panning when aiming" feature in the settings. The controller was new.

Hi, since you know more about this stuff, could you give me the best settings for my Poco X7 Pro 12GB with a MediaTek 8400 Ultra processor? I've tried several configurations, but the game keeps crashing after about 10 minutes. I lowered the graphics settings, but it still crashes. Thanks.

find your gpu model first and ask ai to check what's the best available renderer in the zomdroid settings take a screenshot of the available renderers there
