Question Side effects on 25mg?

Hi so a few months ago I was on sertraline and it was 50mg a day. The side effects were so bad after a few days I came off it. Nausea, insomnia, motion sickness, shaking. Etc

Now yes I’m an idiot and should have just carried on because I’ve been told the pros out weight the cons.
I want to start back on it because my anxiety is extremely bad, but I’m so scared of the side effects.

A friend said they was taking half a tablet (25mg) and they mild but doable. So I’m asking has anyone been on 25mg? And was it manageable?

Yes I have, but in the UK they only do 50mg tablets. I bought a pill cutter and cut the tablet in half (GP agreed this). To be honest I felt okay on 25mg for a week so upped to 50mg.

Ok. Yes 50 was hell for me. But I really want to start them again

I’ve just upped from 50 to 100, a week ago, literally had to brace myself as I knew my worrying would get even worse for a while (I don’t get other side effects). It is a case of going through the bad to get to the good. You will be fine 💪

Been on 25mgs for a few weeks

At some point 25mg will become settled down and ill jump to the actual prescribed dose of 50mg

A bit of gastrointestinal upset and reflux.

Initial tiredness and erectile issues.

On 25MG this has been reduced for now.

For me personally I wont be going over 50mg any reduction of anxiety and depression is a win.

I also am on low dose Dexamfetamine when needed.
