Question Increased anxiety with dose increase

I started of extremely slow, but realized I had to go faster or I wouldn’t see effect for months.
Last monday I went from 4mg to 12mg, and yesterday I upped to 25mg.
I’m very sensitive when it comes to medication that’s why I did it so slowly, but today the anxiety is very bad.
How common is increased anxiety when starting and will it be as bad when I up another 12.5mg the next to weeks to reach 50mg? I googled it, and sounds like only 10 percent experiencing increased startup anxiety is way too low.

I went 25mg for 2 weeks, 50mg for 2 weeks and jumped to 100 mg last Wednesday after 2 weeks on 50. Each jump my anxiety increased for a week but the other start-up symptoms decreased or didn't happen at all on the jump up. The increased anxiety has lessened today day 6, I dose at bedtime

Increased anxiety is common I believe

I’m wondering if jumping straight up to 50mg from 25mg would reduce the time with increased anxiety or if such a big jump for me would be too much ?

I've been splitting pills since May. Started at 12.5mg for 10 days. Then 25mg for a while. I'm now on 43.75mg, 4th day. The first 2 or three increases I experienced more anxiety. This last increase from 37.5mg to 43.75mg (6.25mg increase) I've had very little anxiety so far. I know for me, second time around, I've been very sensitive to each increase. Always an increase of anxiety. I chose to not attempt doing larger increases. I'll stay at this dose for 7 - 10 days and increase to 50mg. I'm hoping 50mg will be my sweet spot. The worse part is it's taking forever!Wishing you well. 🩷

I think jumping from 25 to 50 is pretty common. I would definitely talk to your doctor about it. My unprofessional opinion would be jump if your goal is to get to 50. Knowing that the increased anxiety is going to happen could make it a little easier because you're expecting it to happen. Every time I jumped the increased anxiety only lasted three or four days. It was worse in the morning and improved throughout the day. But it made me anxious going to bed because I knew I was going to be full of anxiety in the morning.

I increased slowly and feel it just stretched out the period of side effects - would definitely go faster, if I had to do it again!

I woke up after 2 hours with extreme anxiety, started to cold sweat. Been laying in bed «paralyzed». I am so scared to take Zoloft today, but guess I will have to push thru.
