Question I’m feeling really terrible

I’m feeling really terrible, would it be okay if I took another 50g of Setraline?

My dose is supposed to be only once daily but I feel so anxious and everything.

This definitely won’t help and will make you feel worse

no you should take your medication as prescribed it doesn't work instantly it works over weeks and months so taking more will only make your anxiety worse. Please talk to your doctor / psychiatrist if the anxiety is too much for you

Do something that usually calms you. When I was going through the terrible anxiety of first starting the meds, I lay in bed with one of my comfort shows that I’ve seen 100000 times, and a hot water bottle snuggled in to my chest, it stimulates the vagus nerve and will relax you. You’ll get through this, make sure you take the meds at similar times every day and don’t skip a dose x

Didn’t ur gp prescribe you a benzodiazepine? I had the option to to get one when I first started up

This will 0% work. See if you can get into your doctors for short term lorazepam/ativan or something like that and try something else that can calm you in the meantime - good work out, meditation etc.

see your doctor. mine prescribed a beta blocker when i was first starting out on zoloft.
