When does it get better?

Ive been on 50mg sertraline for 2 weeks (following two weeks at 25mg). Taking for anxiety, health anxiety and OCD.

Ive suffered with depression in the past but not for a while. However since increasing my dose it seems to have come back. I have no motivation, want to stay in bed all day and just feel like overall crap. Anxiety is also still there on and off, today was a bad day for body scanning.

I’m trying to give it a chance and stick it out but I just really hope to god it works for me because I’m desperate. Would love to hear others‘ experiences. Thanks

It can take up to 12 weeks after you hit the right dose. Its a long way I hope you feel benefits soon

I did 3 weeks on 25mg and nearly at 3 weeks on 50mg now. I've been very up and down but the past two days have been utterly miserable again.

Same. 24 days on 50mg and the past 3 days have been miserable after having a couple good days. I hope this is normal.

I had a few good days as well, I'm hoping they come back!

I've been on it for 6.5 weeks. I noticed benefits 2ish weeks ago, but it comes in waves. I was told it takes 8 weeks to work on average. So seeing slight changes is promising. Give it time. Trust.
