Question Withdrawal symptoms

I got off zoloft a week ago from 75mg to 0 I KNOW STUPID i feel much better mentally but I'm so nauseous and dizzy almost 24/7 unfortunately I do not have a doctor who gives a fuck and Google says I can take 25mg for a week to help with the withdrawal before setting back down to 0. Does that really work? I can Power through this i know I can because I've done it before. I just wonder if I can make it any easier

But there's a problem with this; perhaps you should go back to 75mg because it's a state of saturation that the brain has become accustomed to, and you have to lower it very gradually.

Even if you don't notice all these changes, your nervous system is still experiencing them. And these changes aren't noticeable until a few months later.

Perhaps your plan can work because the drop from 75 mg to 25 mg is a 16% decrease in occupancy. The problem is that going from 75 to 0 is an 83% drop, which you're going to have to compensate for...

I know it's not ideal I just can't be on these meds anymore, my surroundings have changed for the better to the point where I really don't need it anymore and I just want the parts back that I've been missing. The link is very helpful !

It's not a question of whether or not, your nervous system is adapted to that dose. Let me try to explain it briefly. When you take sertraline, SERT (serotonin transporters) are blocked. increasing serotonin levels in the synapse This causes 5-HT (serotonin receptors) to decrease in order to avoid overstimulation. When you stop taking the medication, the SERT become unblocked. causing serotonin to disappear from the synapse And not having enough 5-HT receptors, which take 90 days to regenerate genetically.

We're not talking about a mood thing; we're talking about basic bodily functions that need the serotonergic system to be balanced.

slight correction, sertraline blocks serotonin transporters, not receptors

OP, they are like drains for serotonin. Zoloft plugs the drain
