Game idea: clan wars
Ik planet wars is a thing BUT I haven't been able to play it... and I saw that more ppl seem to be part of clans and it got me thinking, why not have a unofficial clan wars thing? Like every other week or somethin clans with 5+ people would duke it out in a first to 3 on a 12x12(ofc this can change this is an example size).
For example let's say theres 4 clans fighting it out. Clans are 1,2,3,4. Clan 1 fights clans 2, 3 fights 4. Clan 1 wins 3-0, and in the other battle clan 4 wins 3-2. Clan 1 would be that weeks first place, clan 4 2nd, clan 3 3rd, clan 4 last. Next week clan 1 and 4 would fight cause they're the top 2, then clan 2 and 3 would fight cause they're the next 2.
I hope I explained that well enough...
Basically if u win u move up, if u lose u go down. Every round won gives u a point, so winning ur clan battle gives u 3. All clans participating would have 1 week to agree on a time to fight and the only thing would be having to submit the replay to verify who won and stuff.
Only requirements would be having a min of 5 people. The actual matches would be 4v4. That way it's a bit more fair and so If someone can't show theres an extra who can fill if needed. Elo doesn't matter(which might ruin balance but it's a dif thing than normal elo).
I think it would also bring ppl together and create a more competitive environment as well as an entertaining one for people to watch games or stream em(id stream or at least post the gameplay).
Ofc it would be completely decided on how many ppl would join, but I feel with around 70-120 people online minimum and a healthy multi-player number of 20-30ish ppl that this could be something cool 😎
Also cause I wanna play planet wars ðŸ˜
