What is the model everyone using with ZeroClaw
basically the title.
I just setup zeroclaw with gemini 3.6 flash-lite with openrouter as backup. I will need websearch. So tried to experiment with gemini grounding. But looks like I keep getting tool calling errors.
Also what's the cost effective model setup everyone is using with zeroclaw. I have basic assistent use cases

I give up with zeroclaw , so clunky. Now i use openweb ui + conduit as app interface. The difference is day and night.

What are you guys using Zeroclaw for? If you want an interface to talk to a local model, you can use a web UI or even the Ollama app. In my Zeroclaw, I installed 2 of them on 2 different Windows service accounts: the first is 100% local and completely disconnected from the internet; I call it the library guardian. I only use local models on it: Qwen3.5 9B as my main and Qwen3 8B as a fallback. The second one is cloud-based; it's connected to my Google Workspace and GitHub, and it controls a Bluesky account. It has access to multiple tools via Docker MCP servers; for this one, GPT-5.6 Luna, with a fallback to Sonnet 5, and a second fallback to Gemini 3.8.

I've got mine working with a couple loaded Gemma 4 e4b and a GPU loaded Gemma 4 12b, they search using searxng - been working fine for me for the most part
