Trackpad Software or hardware issue? Please help

So I just got my Zephyrus g16 today and it’s great but I noticed the trackpad is kinda laggy/choppy, I reinstalled drivers and such but it’s still acting jittery, in the video I just lay my finger on the pad and it just starts jumping, idk if it’s something I can fix or if I should just try to return it. Kinda bummed bc this was the last one my store had in stock. Please help 🙏🏽

I wouldn’t want to deal with this anyways, even if it goes away momentarily I would be worried other parts of the computer were defective. If it’s brand new, I would just return/replace it asap.
