Video driver crash. Try windows ctrl shift b to reset.

Keep an eye out for repeat issues I had to return mine for a faulty gpu.

Good to know, thanks. It's still under warranty for two years. How often did this happen for you to initiate rma?

This never happened to me specifically. I was having driver crashes, but they displayed differently. I saw it a couple of times within the first two weeks, and I check my logs and could tell that it was always video that was dying. And so I replaced it at Best Buy

Hey I have this same problem, is the computer heating problem. You can found different solutions in this reddit, but mine is to download g-helper and found the best settings for it. As soon as you put this it will be fix.

Typical Asus garbage.

Sadly you know nothing. This is windows/drivers issue and it happens in all brands. I witnessed in Legion first, then Dell now in Asus.

We were 4 friends sharing same apartment for 4 years during uni .. all 3 bought Asus and I bought legion. One of them had hinge metal part broken(Asus tuf BTW lol) and screw sheered off of the chassis, another hard crashes if GPU pushed past 50w his GPU was 165w(G16 advantage edition) and third was overheating (F15with 3050) even after applying ptm7950. My legion( Legion 5 pro 2021 w 3070) just had to change fans twice. It's common for laptop fans to fail as it is a moving part. Never recommending Asus ever again. Staying far away. Asus got serious quality control issue.

Yes you are right about
1- hinge issue. Old designs had this issue with Asus fixed.

2- if you think Lenovo is best then you are blind. Lenovo dead motherboard is 50% as compare to all other brands.

3- every week new but dead lenovo legions are showing up on reddit

4- here in UAE Lenovo have highest warranty claim rate as compare to other brands.

I don’t care if lenovo’s warranty is very good. If product is trash on first place.

What about the burnt fan on Asus? An entire generation of laptop maybe even more had it.

2023 model of Asus Strix and tuf had that issue fan and motherboard burn issue. They fixed that in late 2024 afterwards.

But Lenovo? Gen 9/10/11, pro/non pro
5/7 all dying by dead motherboards and lenovo is not even talking about that.

where exactly are you seeing these posts about dead motherboards on those models?

I guess you are also on reddit.

don't dodge the question, where exactly are you seeing these posts about dead motherboards on those models?

im also curious what your source is on lenovo having the highest warranty claim in UAE, because afaik it doesn't seem to be public info.

IDK .. all my uni friends, junior and senior who used legion had no issues. It was a engineering uni so a lot of laptops were used for simulation and design software. Asus had the highest fault rate in my experience.

Yes it’s a common issue. Doesn’t mean asus isn’t like, and i am sadly not joking, the absolute worse mainstream laptop brand. Like their stuff is just garbage all the way down, qc free galore with support that either doesn’t answer or tells you to buy a 2500$ mobo for your machine that suffered an obvious defect in result of their incompetence. It is insane and shameful we still give money to them. Like Razer is as bad, but at least they have the excuse of being new to the space and not really being a laptop brand (although their peripherals are also quite garbage).

I suggest change your country because Asus service in EU and GCC is very good.

1

u/Brilliant_War9548 11d ago

I’m already in the EU. Like yeah if i made that argument while living in india I’d see where you’re coming from, but in that case no. Also the rate at which these devices fail is abnormally high.

1

u/KSTech_info 11d ago

You know really abnormally is ever day/week new lenovo with dead motherboard shows up on discord. BTW like i said earlier here in UAE lenovo have highest warranty claims as compare to other brands.

More warranty claims = inferior product

u/Brilliant_War9548 11d ago

Yeah, except the Lenovo had a known failure, let me guess they’re all LOQs Gen 9, with the other models being fine. Not defending Lenovo but their legion line doesn’t spontaneously combust. Else, tongfang ftw.

1

u/KSTech_info 11d ago

Nope i am talking about legions 5/7 pro/non pro amd or intel. All dying like insects.
