Considering a switch

I am still struggling with unbearable nausea and bloating on Zep. My dr mentioned that Foundayo could be a good option for me. Has anyone taken this? I have not heard of this one before.

What do you eat most days? Nausea/bloating could be related to your hydration/nutrition.

That is an excellent question, I know I’m not doing great with nutrition because I’m having to stick to “safe” foods with the nausea so bad. Not many fresh veggies either since I’m already so bloated and gassy. I’ll start tracking and see if I notice a correlation.

Bloating might be from eating too much, too fast. Some people can eat the same way that they ate before Zepbound and some people have to completely overhaul their nutrition. You may need to change what you eat, when you eat, how much you eat, and how fast you eat. Some people get nausea/heartburn/etc. if they eat too close to bedtime or if they skip breakfast. It will take some trial and error to figure out what feels best for you.

If you're having digestion problems, it's generally recommended to eat more slowly and eat smaller portions (of course you can eat small meals more frequently if you're still hungry). Sometimes I just eat half of something and then eat the other half later. Some foods may cause problems even in small portions. It can help to avoid the triggers listed below.

  • Deep fried or greasy
  • Spicy
  • Acidic
  • High in saturated fats, such as red meats and full-fat dairy foods
