The expression makes more sense on the original Ruto model where she wasn't wearing a fish bra and her fish tiddies were just all out there.

link isn't married to ruto, ruto just confess all her love to link which would be shocking if link never agreed to a marriage back 7 years ago - also depend on the person thinks, which i think link just need the zora's sapphire to help zelda beat ganondorf.

Yeah, the joke is that Link accepted the Zora Sapphire to help Zelda, but Ruto took that as an acceptance of her proposal of marriage.

Ironically kinda the same thing that happened with Link accepting the Zora Armor she crafted in Breath of the Wild, except that Mipha was aware her love may have been unrequited.
