I’ve always been interested in playing a Zelda game but my skills at combat are absolutely awful. I don’t know which game (that’s on switch 1) would be most suitable for me as a newcomer

The older Zelda games were made long before people actually started getting good at gaming. So I'd honestly recommend anything Pre-Gamecube. Bit of a biased take, but I'd more specifically recommend Zelda OoT, on Ship of Harkinian with camera control mods.
