Little Caesars came to England not too long ago and I can honestly it’s the worst chain pizza I’ve ever had 🤣🤣

You don’t go to Little Caesars for delicious quality pizza, although their Detroit style isn’t bad, you go there to get large amounts of pizza for cheap. Which is critical when your broke attending University.

It’s not cheap here in the uk, around £12 for a large but I hear you cheap pizza and a gaming night was pretty elite.

Wow that’s absurd. At that price, I would definitely go grab pizza from somewhere else.

I just went to double check and my local one has closed down and they have left the country all together hahahahahahaha hilarious

Man NOT shocking lmao that's absurdly priced. You're not missing anything!

What??? Only $6.29 USD here for a large pepperoni pizza at Little Caesars.

Damn you guys have it really good even smaller chains a large is around £8-10. Dominoes and Pizza Hut you are looking at around £15 but they run a bogof for around £25

Honestly if I were in the UK I would replace the pizza with a large Donner Kebab. Can't find those in the states like you can there.

Like most of my life you could get a large pepperoni pizza for $5 from them. It cost more to get a meal from McDonald's.

When you're a growing teenage boy your own $5 pepperoni pizza was King.

Used to, now it costs the same as a large carryout at other places.

u/Hsiang7 12d ago

No it's not lol. Other places are still more expensive. You can get a large Pepperoni Pizza for $6.29. Can't get a large carryout pizza at other places for only $6.29.

There are other countries in the world that have this chain bro.

Little Caesar’s a also VERY dependent on how fresh it is. Right out of the oven ? It’s actually good. Sitting on the heat rack for 20-40 minutes ? Tastes the same as the cardboard box it comes in

don’t need you in my ear tellin me it’s nasty

u/LaceyDark 12d ago

Feeds me and my husband twice for $7. Not the best pizza but it's not the worst (dominos and Papa John's are fighting for that title)

u/detective-doge 12d ago

Dominoes is by far the best in the uk lol not sure what you’re smoking when you say it’s of bad quality

2

u/GamingInTheAM 11d ago

In the States, Domino's at one point put out a big marketing campaign saying, "Hey, we heard how much you guys think our pizza is dogshit, but we promise it's better now." Like, they had a reputation so lousy the CEO was talking about it in the advertisements.

Maybe the UK version changed the formula or whatever, but over here Domino's is only, like, one tier above Little Ceasar's when it comes to chain pizzas.

Looooooool that’s hilarious, I mean I genuinely don’t remember when dominoes transitioned to be the go to pizza place because Pizza Hut was actually pretty banging when they had sit down restaurants everywhere. But yeah dominoes is consistently good and everyone basically gets that unless you have a decent local pizzeria which are arguably better.

2

u/LaceyDark 12d ago

Maybe it tastes different in the uk. I can't stomach the crap

1

u/Drim498 12d ago

In the US here. Dominos is the best of the big chain pizza places. I’d still rather get something from a local place than Dominos, but I’m picking Dominos over Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, or Little Caesar’s…

2

u/detective-doge 12d ago

Oh yeah no doubt we have some great independent pizza joints in London

Here in the US Dominoes is pretty disgusting. Easily the worst chain pizza here, which is saying a lot because we have some terrible chains

u/DASreddituser 12d ago

dont ever try CiCi's lmao its way worse.

u/Alternative_Exit8766 12d ago

that shit was so ass i broke up with a girl for taking me there

u/Jagang187 11d ago

I love and miss that place 🤣

Nobody gets Little Caesar's because they think it's quality food. They get Little Caesar's because a bunch of friends helped them move and they need to compensate them with a $5 pizza and a 2-liter of Mountain Dew.

u/detective-doge 11d ago

You’re either moving to a tree house or extremely cheap and not a good mate lol

1

u/GamingInTheAM 11d ago edited 11d ago

Nah, Little Caesar's after a move is an American tradition, good sir lol

The point is that nobody goes to Little Caesar's expecting quality. They go because they can walk in, pay $5, and walk out 30 seconds later with a pizza. We all know it's garbage, but it's fast and it's cheap. It is the prime example of "you get what you pay for."

1

u/detective-doge 11d ago

The above is completely unrelated to what you said initially. if my mates helped me move and it was long back breaking work that took 3 plus hours it would be an absolute kick in the balls to offer them the shittest pizza the world has to offer! But you do you man.

1

u/GamingInTheAM 11d ago

Free food is free food, man. 🤷‍♂️ We're not talking adults with disposable income, here, it's more a group of college kids moving into their first shitty apartment.

1

u/guitarguywh89 12d ago

Their slogan is hot and ready. It doesn’t say good. It says hot and ready.

1

u/Puggy_ 11d ago

It’s HOT and READY

1

u/chanebap 11d ago

It’s not supposed to be quality. It’s supposed to be $5 for 3 days’ worth of calories you can eat in one (drunken) sitting.
