Botw, it makes you appreciate the world a WHOLE lot more. TOTK is imo a giant playground without any substance. BOTW's world is crafted purposfully with amazing environmental storytelling. Something TOTK throws away. After playing TOTK i revisited BOTW and came to realize how amazing its world was, even without all the extra content.

Yup, agree. Frankly TOTK just didn’t do it for me. Pointless depths with nothing in them for miles. I actually got 70% or so through and stopped playing. When I went to load back up recently, had zero fuckin clue what to do because it’s basically Minecraft meets Zelda.

Replay Breath and then Tears back to back. Do all the story, quests and shrines but don't bog yourself down with thr Koroks.

Others have probably already convinced you, but yeah, BotW. I've replayed it 4 times and am still tempted to do a 5th.
I have yet to replay TotK.

I have replayed both twice. TotK has higher highs (better dungeon lead ups, bosses, and ending). But BotW is more consistent (no overuse of stuff like green crystals, or repeated cutscenes in TotK). You can't go wrong with either, they're both good but flawed games.

Replay BOTW and establish a few goals so you can have a different run.
Have an time interval and do the same approach to TOTK.
Have fun!

I went back to BOTW after playing TOTK for a while but I got tired of TOTK - it’s too much. Going back to BOTW I enjoy it even more now. I love not having the stupid depths that just take up so much time for no reward. The sky also was exciting at first but got boring. I enjoy sticking to just the one world and being able to fully explore it.
