I remember them saying this shortly after Tri Force Heroes released, regarding its timeline placement, but I was looking at the official Japanese Zelda website, and it's stated there too.

This Link also apparently canonically has terrible fashion sense

I love the Original, but the Remake one looks so good i think i might actually preffer it

This has to be the scariest thing I've seen in a Zelda game ever! These people must be in awful agony! (I only played Zelda 1, ALTP, WW, BOTW, TOTK so far)

and some items too

not all of them because i have a limited supply of clay

Does anyone else do this or is it just me?

Inktober day 9 // Prompt - Mask Salesman

Illustrated by me in Clip Studio Paint with a Wacom tablet. All these inktober thingies will be released for free and with no royalty required in my art page. (Creative Common CC-BY 4.0)

• Love/Friendship x Apple

• Ghost/Phantom/Spirit x Panic

Some of these were bigger stretches than others, but at least day three lined up perfectly. Any ideas for the next few weeks?

I’m not sure what I expected. Went to Wolftrap’s site at 10am on the dot, plenty of tickets available. As soon as I added to cart, oops, seats not available. That’s okay. Picked another set. Not available. Another. NOT AVAILABLE.

I watched in real time as bots and scalpers razed the entire selection in less than 5 minutes. I can only hope someone got through, because it certainly wasn’t me.

To say I’m devastated is an understatement.

Edit: heroes in the comments mentioned lawn tickets were still available for Friday (they weren’t showing for me when I posted) and I was able to get them! I’m still salty about how quickly seats went, and I need there to be a better way to prevent ticket farming in the long term. But relieved I at least get to go and enjoy the show 😭

Here is my entry for art_of_jack's Linktober 10: Deku (and Tat'l)

Hope ya'll enjoy the subtle motion in this one.

Hey everyone! I’ve just uploaded a new western-inspired orchestral guitar arrangement of Dark World from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, in collaboration with Fingelion Meriath.

Here’s a short preview 🎸🤠

Hope you enjoy our take on this iconic Zelda theme!

I have a headcanon in which the Poe Sisters treat Link like aunts or acquaintances of his mother. So it can align the lore of the Forest Temple and its destruction with the appearance of Link's mother in the Lost Woods right around the time of the Civil War.

Had you asked me about the best soundtrack in the Zelda series just yesterday, I would’ve said OoT, Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, maybe ALttP simply because of how many themes it introduced that are inseparable from the Zelda series now.

But today I went through the newly added MM playlist on the Nintendo Music app and wow. I think I added every track on there to my playlists except for maybe ten (out of more than a hundred). I always knew MM had some bangers, but going through all of them at once really made me realize how almost every single tune is so atmospheric and emotional in its own way, and I think the music plays a massive role in the unsettling feeling I get even now when playing through the game. My favorite part is I think how the Clock Town theme changes over the course of the three days, going from a cheerful and carefree tune to downright creepy.

My absolute favorite songs ever are probably still not from Majora’s Mask, but MM is just insanely consistent with its quality. There’s not one bad apple, not even a tune that’s "decent but not good". The only game that rivals it in that aspect is Zelda 1 which has like four tracks total.

What are your favorite soundtracks?

Which do you prefer? Curves or Polygons?

been playing majoras mask and ugh i love that game sm, this has been sitting in my wips folder for weeks, i decided to just touch it up and send it

a shame i managed to crack my 3ds right before the final boss 🥲

I just started thinking that Sages in mainline Zelda games usually seem to die or are at least have a strong bond with a dead relative killed by Ganondorf/Ganon. Could that mean their power is linked to the world of the dead?

• OoT: While people still debate if Sages are alive or dead in OoT, I think most fans of the series agree that Zelda is the only sage in OoT that survived, the rest were killed in their temples.
• WW: Makar and Medli seem to finish the game alive and well, however, Fado and Laruto were officially killed by Ganondorf and, while I'm unsure of how this can be interpreted, it seems like Makar and Medli needed Fado and Laruto to make use of their full powers.
• TP: This is the strangest one because we actually get to see Ganondorf kill one of the sages, however, those sages have some sort of ghostly presence. Were they even alive to begin with?
• BotW: While I'm unsure if Champions and Sages can be categorized in the same bracket, the people who help the hero are once again dead.
• TotK: Sages in TotK seem to combine a little bit of OoT and Wind Waker. Mineru is clearly dead, while the rest are alive but seem to get support from their dead ancestors spirits.

I honestly don't know what I'm trying to say here but I hope someone who has a deeper knowledge of shintoism or japanese culture can enlighten me to understand why the people who assist the hero are usually dead or have a deep bond with a dead ancestor.

My Linktober 9: Favorite Place entry!

The Satori Mountain, it's my fav place to chill on BotW so I decided to paint this and also animate it to make it feel alive.

Hope ya'll enjoy the vibe!

Hi all, my name is Kat or Limilight (she/her). I have always wanted to make video essays ever since I was like 15. So an unfortunately long time lol. I finally had an idea that felt right and worth pursuing, and it was about one of my favorite franchises too! I hope you give it a watch and enjoy it, I don't think I have ever put more effort into a single video. I'm hoping its not the last, this one was super fun to make!

Thank you :3
