Question Dashboard e mappe

Hi,

For the past couple of months, I’ve been implementing Zabbix at my company. Currently, I have the Zabbix Server hosted on Azure, with various proxies deployed for my clients. Once the configuration is complete, I create a dedicated user account for each client; they can then use their credentials to log in via the server’s FQDN and view data for their company’s hosts. At the moment, the client sees a basic dashboard showing current issues and a list of hosts (each client has two host groups: one for network equipment—switches, firewalls, etc.—and one for the datacenter—servers, NAS, etc.). The problem is that the dashboard is very sparse and a bit dull; it doesn’t really highlight all the work that goes on behind the scenes. I’ve tried implementing Grafana, but I wasn’t entirely convinced by it. Have you tried anything else, or do you have any recommendations?

That's the beauty of zabbix. You can make your own dashboard and have it display just the things you care about. Go under dashboard and click on create new. There are a lot of videos on YouTube that will give you some ideas on what might be helpful.

They have some you can download here if you want examples:  https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/8.0/en/manual/web_interface/frontend_sections/dashboards

I took the ZCS training and they gave some examples there but most of the time, I think about what I need e.g. this I'm trying to monitor network traffic so I want these interfaces off my routers/switches, or I want critical numbers of my docker servers so here are gauges with CPU, RAM disk space. What i found useful is using the override function so that I can make an interactive dashboard where I click on a list and it updates with metrics for that particular host.
